CD forgot to give him all of his points! 25 possies only 2 clangers 1 goal 2, i know only like 5 were contested but geewiz 78 really?

Did you watch the game? He had almost no impact

He had no impact, all junktime stats. Only had 7 touches to HT.

kilbluff1985

i knew he and Jelwood would score poorly SJ did better then i thought actually unfortunately he missed a couple of shots at goal and a gettable mark inside 50

PICCOLLO

It's the Stevie J way.  Great for loopholing but reliable week in week out?  I don't think so.

agreed he always plays bad against them. Still has a 3 round average of 106 though. Not a bad m9 pickup at the momentbut probably looking elsewhere.

Bully

I picked him up, like his run coming up and was willing to cop the 78 to get the price rise. SJ is in good form, despite an average showing last week.

Capper

he had a lot of cheap shots in the Swans game and could have easily got suspended. I think he will have a brain explosion and get rubbed out for a couple

Probably, I still think at his price he will make significant money. We all know Stevie has a massive ceiling and should get to 550+ at some stage in the season. He has already played Freo & Carlton (his two bogey teams) and has coming up - West Coast (150 last time), Essendon (114), Port (110), Melbourne (135), Adelaide (116), North (61), Doggies (119), GWS (141) & Bris (145).

With so few rookies I'm looking at other ways to make money, Stevie is unlikely to be this cheap again.

SJ is done with! unless you can handle putting up with 4 bad games to 1 good?

Think it will be more like 4 good games and 1 bad from here on out. Would grab him if my midfield wasn't complete already

Ahh, the fallen-premium cash-cow  strategy.

Risky indeed but could pay off!

For me he was a good replacement for Sloane while he sits on the bench and at 425k will be an excellent m9 looper.
Injury replacement/cheap possible premo output/late season m9 if worst comes to worst.....not much downside.
