Thoughts???

Should we jump on or what? Still undecided whether he can keep it up for a 100+ average for the year, or whether the first 2 games scores just coincided with Weak Opposition/Doggies Winning.

This week if ever. I will wait and see whether Hogan scores well or not.

If so, I will hold Lamb for a week and pass on The Bont.

Also, Lonie might influence things should he be sore.

Bully

My one concern with Bont is a lack of support in the middle. With Wallis out I'm a little unsure about the impact this will have. Thoughts?

I'm not a believer either in the Bont (this season) or in the Doggies. I'm staying off this year but will be delighted if the kid proves me wrong since I love the way he goes about it

Mondoftw

Agreed, I think with lack of support in the mids it'll show in his scoring output. My biggest concern is him already missing a game after only 2. I'm staying clear for now but will be watching closely

tigertops

If u wanna get on him this week is the cheapest he will get. With a proj 60k price jump next week I see him being around 500k plus for th year
I'm considering jumping on, indirectly at the expense of griffen

Big Mac

I don't really like his prospects at all

Jumping on this week anyway because I have a spare 300k

He's 19. You're picking him for the whole season if you're jumping on now. Can a 19 year old play out the whole season at such an elite level? I'd look at Dahl instead if you want to bring a Dog in now.

Take care of yourself, and each other.

Bont actually got stronger as the season progressed last year, this gives me some heart. I've previously posted results from the best 2nd year players and guys like Wines, O'Meara, Martin, Wingard, Fyfe, Bennell & Macrae all averaged over 95. If someone can convince me that Bont isn't in the same league then I'm all ears.

Degsman

Just my 2 cents on the issue, but when I think of the Bont and his situation, with regard to supercoach, it reminds me of Nat Fyfe

Both played 16 games in their first season with a few scores of 100+ each and an average for Bont of 78.6 and Fyfe of 72.6

Fyfe was available as a forward at that time and in his second year went on to average 108!

Had a second round score of 49, but in his first 5 rounds fyfe scored: 117, 139, 164 and 129

Now I know that Bont will probably get tagged from the get go while fyfe only got tagged a couple of times later in the year but thought I would make the comparison and see that Bont averaging 95-100 and being a premium is not too outrageous

No Libba, No Griffen, No Wallis...

Bont has a tag written on his forehead...

I have Bartel and was thinking Bont just to make cash, but I'm going Robbie Gray in 2 weeks instead

YoungGun

If you make 10 tackles a game its gonna be hard to score poorly. Bont is a freak and will deal with the tag

Takes a hell of a lot of effort and energy to make 10 tackles a game......
