Europe Epic ends in Thriller

This one hurts. Especially that I played one of the three teams to have outscored me this week. Moscow were inspired by unlikely heroes in Hogan and Seedsman, and were well served by stars Callan Ward and Dyson Heppell. Although Berlin had 6 centurions to Moscow's 5, the men from Russia scored much bigger centuries, and that was the difference in the end.

Another fairly average performance from Seoul, three in a row really, but, they have got two wins from this patch, so they certainly won't be complaining. The Dillos simply weren't good enough on the day, and will be left to rue another missed opportunity at another win.

Christchurch were again very impressive; that makes three impressive performances this year; and exposed a Wines-less Beijing in an anti-climax to there stunning form this year. To think Christchurch had two centurions waiting in the emergencies is also a discomforting stat, but there is no doubt New Zealand have embraced their new team with open arms.
