CHRISTCHURCH SAINTS

B: Joel Patfull, Sean Dempster, Dylan Roberton, Liam Picken (+10%)
M: Sam Mitchell, Matthew Boyd (VC), Luke Shuey, Tom Scully
R: Will Minson
F: Jamie Elliott, Jeff Garlett, Nathan Hrovat, Dayne Zorko
I: Bryce Gibbs (C), Aaron Sandilands

E: Aaron vandenBerg, Tory Dickson, Jake Stringer

Rested: Hamish Hartlett

Good to see Clay Smith named in the sunday squad after just 1 VFL match. Better to see Gilbert named in the VFL this week. Nice to know that Ben Reid's injury is only a one weeker, so he can come back in the VFL and get injured again next week.

I cannot figure out why the dogs have gone with Ayce instead of Will, but Christchurch will not be resting HH as a result of that perplexing decision. Wilbur was meant to be the only ruck that I need.

Not sure if Chumps is around and we really would screw up our season if we didn't post a team so first draft of the side:

Cape Town Cobras

D: J Pittard, S Savage, A Everitt, W Schofield
M: JP Kennedy (C), T Cotchin (VC), D Tyson, E Curnow
R: S Martin
F: C Bird, S Higgins, T Hawkins, J Cameron
U: M Blicavs, G Horlin-Smith

E: D Lang, N Haynes, C McCarthy

Can we rest Mitch Honeychurch as well? How does that rule work?

Hate to break it to you Holz, but Luke Delaney is playing for Marseilles this week! You guys have Cam Delaney still.

The rest rule works is that if a player is rested, he must play an AFL match that round, and the following week he gets a 10% bonus to his World's score (if he's named in your team). As Honeychurch should play Sunday, he'll be eligible :).

Team Submission stuff:

@Cape Town, didn't see an official rest nomination for "Sweet Jesus"

@New Delhi, you named 3 OOP defenders, but you already knew that. FYI, you could have attacked this week, and not have had to play McCartin OOP...

@Buenos Aires, your ruck is OOP, but you already knew that.

Players receiving rest bonuses this week (tell me if I have missed one)
Ben McGylnn (Seoul)
Liam Picken (Christchurch)
Matthew Broadbent (Mexico City)
Marley Williams (PNL)
Ahmed Saad (Rio de Janeiro)
Ricky Henderson (Tokyo)

Players nominated for a rest this week (tell me if I have missed one):
Phil Davis (Beijing)
Luke McPharlin (PNL)
Scott D Thompson (Mexico City)
Steve Johnson rested (New York)
