Only have $1000 in the bank, think I might just generate some cash this week and have another look at Rockliff...

Brown -> Lever
Lonie -> Dale

have I missed something?

PowerBug

It's very risky going a week early on Bailey Dale. Especially as you (like me) got burnt by going early on Josh Glenn. However the two you are trading out are good guys to get rid of.

How bad is Browns BE? I remember hearing Lonie's is pretty high and you could possibly do Lonie -> Lever via a few DPP moves, and then do the Brown -> Dale next week as Brown could make cash whilst Dale won't.

It's your choice. I was tossing up whether to get Dale this week as well but I couldn't bring myself to do it.

And I actually contradicted my earlier post with my trades this week. I ended up moving on Oxley as I figured he won't be in my team at the end of the year and has reached his peak. He should continue to score well though.

I kept Newnes & Oxley over the last few weeks and decided to kick Lumumba of the 3.....proving to be a good move early on.

20 trades, $103,000

I guess it's the standard this week...

Tarrant -> Dale
Lumumba -> Rockliff

$209,000

Any thoughts guys, have I missed something?

Should I just trade Cripps to Rockliff, instead?

I would go N.Brown -> Dale (via Saad&Krak) which would push Lever to the bench against Freo and then upgrade Cripps to Rockliff. Browns days are done and I don't have much hope for Cripps playing in the mids against Sydney without the support of Squibbs/Judd. Tarrant had one bad week (along with the rest of NM) and the 36 will roll out in 2 weeks which sees his BE drop. I would also like to see how he bounces back, should do alright against collingwood.

I'm personally holding onto Lolmumba due to him having the right bye structure for my team, hopefully a straight sway with B.Smith in a few weeks.

Might also look at:

CEY -> Rockliff

14 trades, $50,000

I've hit a brick wall, any ideas guys?

McKenzie -> Hamling...

PowerBug

There's one question you need to ask yourself before thinking about trading forward. Adam Saad and Patrick Cripps, is they going to be guys that you keep for the season at D6 and M9, or are they rookies which you will cash in? If they are rookies then it's time to move Saad on (Cripps you trade out Round 14 as his points will be useful next two weeks).

Looking at where you need to upgrade you've got 2 forward spots, and 2 back spots (Maybe 3, Lumumba is bad). With two of your fwd rookies missing next week, and the good premiums having the bye this week (Franklin, Goddard, Mitchell), upgrading in the fwd line looks to be a perfect idea for Round 13. Which means that this week you look at trading in a back premium.

Hopefully Hamling plays, McKenzie -> Hamling works and adds ($80k for you), which will allow for a trade like Saad -> Gibson/Laird (And Picken I think will just scrape under as well)

Looking at your Rd 13 players, you should be in an alright position there so maybe trading Clark now to Steele if he gets named this week is an option. Otherwise you can hold and maybe Lambert comes in for Round 13 (Lambert wouldn't be a bad pickup this week to be honest).

But i think Saad up/McKenzie down and then Clark down/Hogan up in Round 13. Which lead into Cripps up to your final Fwd premium (via the Fwd/Mid rookie that comes in) which has bottomed out or something (it'll be a money sqeeze to do this without a downgrade) will result in the following Rd14 side:

Backs: Simpson, Shaw, Gibson, Newnes, Lumumba, Lever (Hamling, Pearce)
Mids: Your 8 Premiums (Glenn, Dumont, Lambert)
Rucks: As they are
Fwds: Gray, Martin, Dahlhaus, Franklin, Goddard, Swan (Belly, Dale)
Trades: 9, Cash: ~$0

You may require another downgrade to achieve that final Cripps upgrade so maybe if Bellchambers doesn't return in Round 13 then you can look at doing something with him. Then obviously you need to work on the D6 spot, between the three rookies you won't lose too many points until you work the cash to upgrade. You could look at Brodie Smith who even at Round 14/15 won't be higher than $400k.

It's just an idea though, a pretty detailed one at that. :P

Wow, thanks mate, you're an absolute legend!

A lot to consider, plenty of headaches, ha ha.

Thinking, I probably should now trade Rocky as they're not going to rush him back, etc.
