I have both these headaches,Seems I've held him for 2 weeks do I just hold on to him considering I only have Lonie as Cover.I really want to get rid of Malcevski for Rance or Smith.Who would people get rid of 1st?

quinny88

Eski will certainly come good and wouldn't waste a trade moving him sideways.
Lids you have held for 2 weeks already but if he's going to miss again I would consider moving him on to whoever you don't have out of Dusty, Buddy, Gray, Swan

rfc4eva

Thats why I want to get rid of him.At sydney his role was different .hes not getting as much possesion and is butchering the ball and he is hemorrhaging cash.Looks absolutely terrible! But a trade is a trade so its a tough one.

Lids to The Bont?

Keep Malceski...for now. Defenders are a real problem this year. Smith the pick IMO.

Jay

Was under the assumption that Lids would take his 1 week suspension to get his body 100% right and be back and firing for round 3. Seems as though that's not the case!

If he's out again this week we get the tricky situation of either a) "I've held him for this long may as well tough it out", or b) "You've flowered up my season, get out of my side".

Whatever happens, paying over 500k for 60-odd points total in 3 weeks hasn't been ideal  >:(

rfc4eva

Exactly the same with his achillies last year.he lasted 3 weeks on my team before i lost patience

If you have any trust in what coaches say, Dimma said he would definitely be back this week.

Brendon Gale says on SEN Brett Deledio is "50-50 or less. He is doubtful" for Friday night footy with calf injury.

Tylo

Yeh, just saw this on the AFL site - Meanwhile, Richmond also revealed vice-captain Brett Deledio would be an unlikely starter for Friday night’s clash against Melbourne as he battles a calf issue.

Jay

If we trade him this week he's going to score 110+ next week though. That's just how SC works. ::)

RaisyDaisy

Seeing as you have held Lids this long, you just gotta hold him now.

As for Eski, I would seriously consider sideways trading him to Smith, Shaw or Hodge etc

Eski will be 400k in no time if he continues like this and I know we should be keeping premiums, but rookies are scoring better than him

Any further opinions on what to do with Deledio? Common sense (and the voice of common sense, RD) both suggest keeping him now, but a trade to Bont is enticing

Jay

Lids out for another two games. Time to piss him off :(

Thought he was in for a good year too.. Oh well.

Capper

I dont think Eski will come good. At the Swans he never looked after the player and got away with it most of the time as the player ran with him. I a less stronger team he has now been found out and isnt getting as much footy as he did at Sydney

I think I'll keep him. 2 weeks is normally a hold. The fact he has already missed 2 games is pretty much irrelevant, although it might mean he doesn't score as well when he's back.
