I must say this season I've been more than a little peeved at the price of rooks. By round 3 we have almost no downgrade rooks compared to previous seasons and I notice A LOT of them are already dropping in price around the 200k mark. This would suggest they were way too highly priced to start with not to mention most of them wear the vest their first few games.
Pick #1 around 300k, pick 19 around 250k, are you kidding me? I can't see where I'm going to make $ in the next few rounds, the options seem very limited.

Did anyone else notice Bonti's dot went from green to red and back to green again an hour or two later? What's goin on there, someone playin funny buggers on the af site?

Yeah I noticed it as well while working out the other halfs trades but it was Swan with the red light but checked on my team and it was green.

yep, its now the sh1ttest comp. 3rd in line after SC and real DT. SO stupid players going up after 1 game.

hmmmm don't know if I made the right choice atm...I moved Bartel to Bont and since Gray is gone I've got in Dahlhaus but not 100% sure that is the right move... thoughts?

rather than complain why not embrace as a challenge? We are all playing to same rules. Things get boring if all rookies are priced super cheep as everyone makes too much money. This adds new challenges and if your good enough you will come out ahead of the pack

Well not really, because as you should well know by now, a lot is luck with injuries. You cant generate cash if your sideways trading 2 guys like bartel and gray. makes it imposisble to pick up cheap rookies then, because if you leave for another week (2 games) then guys have jumped from 120k to over 200k. Ranked top 1% in other Dt anyway. So i know what comp requires more skill.

Cunno

Bartel > Honeychurch or Krakouer??
Feel like Honeychurch will score at a higher rate without wallis and more midfield time. Could be completely wrong also.
HELP!

Early price changes encourage you to take risks. Waiting 2 weeks for a bubble to burst is too easy.

Yeah got him. That was my other train of thought. Dahlhaus/swan. Like the money making prospects of honeychurch/krakouer though. dont know when we're going to get any more downgrade options in the future.

Krak has a big chance of being sub for Port's game - it will be between him and Young as it will be a fast running game against the Hawks...It's a chance you gotta weigh up..ive changed my mind and taken cash and put him on bench.

thoughts on Bartel to Tex Walker?

walker has GC, St Kilda and GWS coming up in the next few weeks
Not a bad option considering he can go very big but prepare yourself for the low scores (As shown on last weekend)

... went Tex over the Bont... massive fail.
