BREAKING: ASADA will not lodge an appeal with AFL Anti-Doping Tribunal in relation to the decision on the 34 Essendon players & Stephen Dank.

Now to wait and see what WADA do

Lets just hope we are almost done!

I dont think any thing will happen to the players but Essendon staff might be in trouble. Allowing Dank to inject what ever in to most of th players is dreadful.

What happens in 5 years time if something dreadful happens to a player, as a result of these injections?? Bombers could be made to pay out a fortune in compensation

Well maybe they were injected with flowers and puppy dog tails, but all they'd need to do is show the medical records to prove it...

I don't care if Essendon did everything legally and morally right, the lack of any kind of documentation into a player's health record is very, very, very bad form.

ASADA were right to investigate. They were just a bit amateur about it. As were Essendon btw, when the spot light was shone on them, they didn't come off the best.

The Essendon Football Club has already been made to pay.

They were kicked out of finals, fined $2million and their head coach was suspended.

Dank and Essendon both had records. It's just that the dog ate Essendons records.

I hope WADA do appeal.

That $2million went to the AFL as a fine. Im talking about Players taking Essendon to court over what they were given. It only takes one person to have a bad reaction to one of the drugs and Essendon aare in the shower.

In the NRL, a Sharks player Jon Mannah was being treated for Hodgkin's lymphoma and he was beating it. He was then "treated" by Dank and the lymphoma came back and killed him.

There was a lot of talk that the drugs that Dank injected the Sharks with caused the lymphoma to come back

You guys can laugh about it all you want, but as soon as soemthing happens to someone the shower will hit the fan.

From what I understand ASADA Appealing was pointless and they knew it would slow down the process, it's now all down WADA

HGH promoting peptides will do that to cell based disease, dank is worse than cancer.

Doesn't mean it has any negative side effects in normal circumstances.

As far as I know there have only been 3 or 4 appeals from WADA in the last ~ 5 years, and considering the volume of investigations that's an extremely low number.
WADA has to review every single case which goes through a domestic body whether there are guilty or not guilty findings, so really we know no more than we did before ASADA confirmed that they wouldn't appeal - they were never going to appeal...
