It was interesting to hear Bombers comments on Open Mike regarding the whole thing.

Dont see him coming back to coach in the AFL ever

So WADA have officially made an appeal.. And on and on it goes

This is concerning.

WADA NEVER Appeals unless they're pretty sure they're going to win

Reading the short statement WADA is exercising its right to appeal to independent Court of Arbitration for Sport.  It says after a thorough examination of the evidence it has decided to appeal so as BP says they must be confident of success which is the concern.

To be fair the level of circumstantial evidence is insane, I have a very hard time believing Essendon did nothing wrong, the problem was simply that ASADA didn't have the power to compel testimony from the likes of Dank who could clear all this up in a second...

Essentially the only reason ASADAs case fell down was that they couldn't prove that the substance the players were injected with was actually a banned substance. Essendon has no records of it, and if Dank has nothing to hide then why not simply turn over his books? With the raft of stuff he had...

If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck...

I have to start to wonder if the AFL tribunal decision was to protect the AFL brand did not see this coming thought it was over , there has been a massive amount of investigation an time in this case why would WADA do this unless they can think there need to be suspensions only time will tell but looking even worse for the Essendon and the players now me thinks  :o

They've been proven innocent once, and they'll be proven innocent again - See more at: http://www.afl.com.au/news/2015-05-12/james-hird-shocked-by-wada-appeal#sthash.56Lrj1Qq.dpuf

Ah... no, they were proven not-guilty, which is different to innocent.

And anyway, nobody is blaming the players

In some small way I want them to subpoenaed, just for the closure. But I know it would be bad news for essendon. Another small part of me is holding out hope that it proves essendon unequivocally innocent and we win the premiership, that part of me also believes 9/11 was an inside job and that aliens built the pyramids.

I dont think its the players that need to be cleared. Its the club that needs to be cleared. If the club is found guilty then the club will be fined and prob loss of more points.

The Club has already been found guilty though?

So I've been reading up on this process. WADA appeals, Essendon then respond. Then they set a date which may not be for another 4-6 months for a hearing, the proceedings of which could take 6-12 months. After which both WADA and Essendon could appeal THAT verdict depending on the result.

All of which means....

WE COULD HAVE ANOTHER FIVE FLOWERING YEARS OF THIS SHOWER!
