So...for those of us who took on Mummy at the start of the year.....he's been underwhelming to say the least! Do we hold and hope he comes good or cut our losses and jump on the Goldy train?

Capper

im holding, will buy him some sausages and he will be ok

Nige

I'm sticking with him.

Holden the ball

nup nup get rid of him smart move he is not producing the goodes

jfitty

Gotta hold him.

I've worked out the perfect formula for rucks in 2015...

Start with Goldstein as R1, then randomly pick one of Mumford, Jacobs, Maric, Minson, Naitanui or Sandilands to fill R2.

Still think the top 3 will be Goldy, Jacobs and Mumford, but at this stage there is only one 'must have' in there.

So if you started with Mummy and Maric.....would you drop one for Goldy now though?

Is there anything in the mummy report on the weekend

BomberSam

I already burnt a trade after round 1, jumping off the Mummy ship, swinging Bellcho to the rucks and getting Tex Walker in the forward line.

I am running a risk with Bellcho and Maric as my rucks, one of them could go at any time and I would cop a zero. Really thinking I might have to trade Tex up to a Goldstein and swing Bellcho forward again soon. A waste of 2 trades :'(

You traded Mummy to Tex after round 1?

Ewwwww  :-[

Just have to stick fat with Tex now, and if Belly or Maric miss, then yeah you'll need to burn another trade to avoid a donut

Yep, read too much into the impact the ruck rule changes would have, plus I was all hyped up on Tex's 177. If only he could repay me with a few big scores before I trade him out.

Never, ever, ever, trade for a score that someone has just got... Hodge and Roughy both just got 170s scores, I'm still willing to bet that they struggle to average 100 for the season... Considering Tex has never had a 100 average (bloody close a couple of years ago before his injury run mind you) that was always going to be a sketchy call... I reckon you kinda have to stick with him now and see if he can get 90+ which I think will be ok for a lower end forward this year. Tex will be an ok pick this year I think, just sounds to me like you're being a bit hasty with dropping your prems for underperforming... Barring an injury, I wouldn't be trading a prem until the rest of your team was sorted... Heck, I've got Hibberd currently as my worst performing defenser, I won't be benching him or trading him any time soon...

I was watching the game when he got reported. It was for rough conduct, but I'm not totally sure what he actually did. I think he headbutted Jeremy Laidler, but he was clearly provoked by Kieran Jack (again, not 100% sure).

It was hard to see much on the video and no one was injured so he should be fine.

Ricochet

MRP results are through and he's been cleared
