Thoughts on Goodes > Krakouer? I have gray out so i need cover in the fwd line and it also enables me to have a loophole in the midfield. Cheers guys
That's what I've done as well as Lids getting rid of Lids.

Think Krak is a pretty safe bet as a downgrade target. Cheap too and the DPP is handy.

Yeah exactly. Don't have an cover so the fingers are crossed. Gray in the mids will give us a loophole option there as well. Brendan Ah Chee is in so chances are hell be the sub anyway

How? Via Saad?

Yep and swapping gray into the mids

What are people's thoughts on Devon Smith? 77, 102, 123.

Previous years avgs 63, 70, 91 and a small sample but currently 100. Trending in the right direction.

Could he be a top 8 mid and a viable replacement for Bartel? Does he get any decent midfield time or playing just a high half fwd role?
I know he was talked about preseason and he is showing good signs but I feel GWS youngsters are such a gamble cos there are so many that they kind of take it in turns playing well. Bit of a roller coaster.

Definitely a viable option. But is he better than Swan/Buddy/Martin for not much more? Probably not.

This is spot on. I am regretting starting Ward now. A different Giant seems to fire every week. Shiel, Smith, Ward (soon I hope!)

Unfortunately I don't have cover ATM on the bench if there is a late out in my forwards and my plan to loophole using McGrath has come unstuck

I am tempted to pull the trigger on Newton to Krak and upgrade McGrath to Buddy so I don't miss out on a premo score.

If I go McGrath to Krak I let Newton have another price rise and then can go Newton to Tarrant next week and then bring a premo in with my 2nd trade next week.

Or I can hold and cop Clark, Salem, Hogan and Lonie on ground this week and hope for the best.

I dunno what to do.

I would dump McGrath to Krak. I actually reccomended the same deal (he has Lamb, so Lamb to Krak and next week Newton to Tarrant). I think even if Krak doesn't play long after, the swap to M11 he will be at M11 which shouldn't be as much of a worry as say F8

Backline - Smith, Hibberd, Shaw, Kelly, Geary, Saad, (McIntosh, Oxley)

is it worth moving geary off to the likes of Kelly, Andrews or..? (any other names would be good, haha)
I don't see gears making much more cash if any, especially with weller out and him most likely assuming the #1 tagging role, i also reckon Ox and Tosh can probably outscore him, so i'm thinking move him off early this week without knowing these boys will get up again and have 2 trades next week for potentially Kraks and maybe Tarrant for lamb and someone else so i'd be set up with a bit of cash and looking good for a few upgrades! what's your thoughts? cheers guys

If you were looking at gettin someone in it would have to be WhiteX. While he has the injury risk he seems to be firmly in the 22 at the moment (Anderson dropped ahead of him and he would also be ahead of Hartung) and you can afford to start two of McIntosh, Ox and Saad at this point

crowls

escaped martin.   did wells>krak and gray to mids via krak dpp
have bartel and lamb on fwd bench.     will do four rokies up forward this.  good start from hogan salem.

kk and goodes put off a bit longer

Looking to replace McGrath with a forward keeper. Have $700K in the bank so price is not an issue..

Undecided between Rioli, Zorko, Goddard and Franklin. Who would you suggest?

Already have Swan, Gray & Martin.

Not considering Bont as thinking he will tire and will have to be traded out anyway (don't want to waste two trades for a $100-$150K gain).

Thanks

In terms of value for money, potential and draw opening up I think Buddy is the way to go

TexR74

Buddy is heating up and i want to get him in next week. Should I
a) Trade Walker for him if he scores poorly this week
b) Hold

Went Buddy, hopefully that decision doesn't bite me!
