No need to be trading either of them. Definitely keep Newnes, I really think he will be a top 6 defender. All these coaches trading him out is exciting for me, he becomes more a POD with every click of the T.

Griffen is a bit different, because unless he lifts considerably, he won't even be M8 material come season's end. He is a roller-coaster but we all know what he is capable of. You picked him for a reason, back him in for the next couple of weeks at least. I feel trading him out now would be a waste.

Just don't let the pressure of holding your rank cloud your judgement. Make sure you have trades left in the last few rounds!

If you don't have any other on field issues in your team and want to win the whole thing I would consider trading out Newnes only. Trade out Griffen and it's likely he will go big. He's a classy player and wins his own ball. Be patient. People are burning trades like nothing. In saying that, I've kept both because I don't see many defenders who are close to a guarantee score of over 90 each week and Newnes is just as likely as some others. If you trade out Newnes I think you should only consider Smith, Shaw and possible Hodge at the present. Hibbered, Simpson, Birchall and a few others haven't shown enough. Part of this game is taking risks though and having POD's. Newnes to Hooker go on!
