ok then just goodes...
yes Bellcho is ruck cover..its just tempting to get bont with cash saved..ill probably hold but it be nice if he could convert some 70s .
the fact i made up a fair whack of ground in overall rankings into the top 1% and the possibility of bringing in a solid 95+ premo for a guy who may avg 75+..the temptation is strong

yeah i was trying my best to stay away from him but his price and him being no.1 ruck would sway me..that miss from the top of the square confirmed why i should of stuck with my gut

I am eyeing off two trades in the next few weeks but I may only be able to afford one. I want Brett Goodes out and Brodie Smith in and I want to upgrade a rookie like Miller to a Parker/Boak when they bottom out. I have 300k in the warchest to help me out.

My options this week are:

Goodes to Smith.
PROS: Defensive keeper in team. Goodes off my chest. Extra 1-2 weeks to look at Griffen's form to decide whether he can be sideways-traded to Parker/Boak.
CONS: Warchest gone. If Griffen holds spot in my team, may miss the boat on Parker/Boak.

Goodes to Ciaran Byrne.
PROS: Adds to warchest to afford Parker/Boak trade + spare cash. If Goodes is selected this week, he won't be bleeding cash from my team. Good rookies (two of: McIntosh, Saad, Oxley) can hold down defence while I add to midfield firepower.
CONS: I'll have to get Smith later on (cheaper?).

I would appreciate any bit of advice you can offer, and would love your opinion on which option to take! Thanks everyone.

The other factor people are overlooking is he's the perfect loophole candidate, I'll be getting two bites of the cherry with Hogan on the bench this week.

Bartel > Bont and have 300k left over to bring Gray/JPK in a couple weeks

or

Bartel > Gray/Buddy with 150/200k left over

The cash save with Bont is so tempting, I'd be able to straight out upgrade a rookie to a premium in a couple weeks without any downgrading

These two are my main problems atm, I have 80k in the bank so can pretty much get any defender for KK
