Who do you guys rate more? Maethison or Oliver, both are very similar players and are both around that 8-12 mark in my opinion. Just was wondering what your guys thoughts are!

Very very close. Would punt Oliver just. But that's a bias opinion because I love Oliver. Matho has a better defensive game than Oliver though. Only reason you'd take Matho over Oliver.

At best guess, they're the two the Blues will decide between and the other (particularly if Matho is the one taken by Blues) will end up at Richmond imo.

Yeah I love Oliver but I think Matho is probably a better all round player!

Ah Chee.
I get the feeling that even though we should go Ah Chee, we probably won't.

This kid can kick it, one to watch for sure - Riley Bonner.

Just because he's small doesn't mean he's no good, this kid can play despite his size - Jade Gresham.

I feel highly offended, maybe it is in the world of football but 178cm is not short lol.

If he is as good as Josh Green, Dayne Zorko, Lewis Taylor and Allan Christensen he will be great.  These 4 are all shorter than 178cm.

I mean, I assume everyone means comparitively when in the modern game tall, athletic midfielders are all the rage. The height debate never ends well though.

This kid could easily be on of the top 5 players in this draft and you can be certain that the Giants will match any bids meaning he should end up in Western Sydney - Jacob Hopper.

its just the truth that he will have less ability to win a contested mark and its likely he wont match up strength wise with some of the bigger mids. He needs to counter with superior speed and an ability to win the low ball.

coming from someone who isnt super tall but 185 cm I have beaten opposing mids at 175cm far superior to me in skill just with the extra size. In particular in marking situations.

Hellopplz

I like Gresham and Bonner!

Agree the height is a disadvantage, but it can be overcomed by those who play smart and have the skill to. Shouldn't hurt him too much if he can pack on some muscle (ala Sam Mitchell) as has the skill and accumulative ability. It does have it's drawbacks as clubs are less keen on smaller midfielders but that's when it came to guys like Caleb Daniel (<175cm), but he still played quite a bit this year! Just put in the ahrd yards and impress, then will be given the chance to prove himself at top level 8).

Yep, may be a superior talent, but less scope for improvement in terms of going forward and taking a mark, becoming a contested beast, or even sweeping across defence. Watching him he looks like a pocket-sized Marc Murphy though! Would love him to slide to the Bombers, will probably fall just short.

This son of a gun will either head to Sydney where his father played or stay in Victoria and likely get picked up by a Vic club - Josh Dunkley

This one was a bit left field to me, nevertheless here's Tom Cole.
