3km trial record by Jack Hiscox was broken this morning with a 9m14s run by Joshua Schoenfeld.

Daniel Rioli wins the best performer at the combine, so an unreal effort.

And just wondering, what are your thoughts on Murray Bushrangers pair Clayton Oliver and Mitch King? Both will be drafted we think or not?

Yeah Schoenfeld is a beast, inside information tells me a fair few clubs (About 5) have already had home interviews with him before the combine, so looks like he is going to be drafted after his weekends effort!! (3rd Rounder or so)

Yeah loved Rioli's performance at the combine! I reckon Cyril could get in the Hawks ear and get him to them.

Oliver is my boy!! I'm from Shepparton so he's only a town over, actually saw him as a 16 year old play Seniors for Mooroopna and he KILLED it. And after his efforts in the 2nd half of the TAC Cup and now doing well at the combine he will go late first round early second round (15-25). Mitch King SHOULD get drafted, but probably after pick 40 or so, haven't seen too much on him, but he has really good potential.

Any news on who bailey rice is nominating? Will he be a good pick? Thoughts?
Probably more likely to go to Carlton I'd say.

Think he's a good mate of SOS Jnr .. this will help get him to Carlton ?

He can nominate both but I think we will be the first preference. He played a couple games with the Northern Blues and we have had him in at the club with our 'academy' since 2008.

Yup I reckon it's about 70-30 that Rice will be a Blue. I'm not too fussed, we got plenty that play the exact same role as him, but he will be pretty damn good for you guys.

Dunkley will probably go into the draft, hoping he gets picked up by a Vic club. Seems to be a kid who wants/needs his family by him.

Small Defender.

Fast half back/wing with good ball use is what I have been reading. He would be an ideal replacement for Yaz although he doesn't probably have the pace or skill by foot that Yaz has.

So him and Dylan Buckley will be our run from half back to half forward ya reckon?

Mat0369

It depends on who we draft and how some of the other guys develop. We have the Irish boys along with Viojo-Rainbow that are all half backs. Someone like Buckley could push up the ground onto a wing to give us some pace while we blood Rice

Not 100% sure but I doubt it he's a direct relation. Harry is a Wagga Wagga boy and David is a Melbourne raised kid.
