Interesting to read this at the bottom of a Weitering article...

QuoteRecruiters believe it will be a thin draft featuring only about 10 top shelf talents.

“After that there’s a big group of blokes who show a little, but not a lot,” one said.

“But there’s a big group of them, so it’s going to be a real test of recruiting this year.”

Schache hasn't played on Weitering, has played on Collins both times, with small stints on him

And the disposal into Schahe has been extremely poor, cannot use that as a basis to compare them imo

Not from what I was seeing. Weitering was matched on him. Yes the disposal too him hasn't been great. But he's second efforts haven't been anything special. But I guess he knows in his mind he'd be too slow to do too much. The difference between them are minimal, but someone has to be higher. It's changed like 4 or 5 times over the last few months...

Ringo

See your crush and Keays continue  ;) Having him at 7.  A little high I think but still a first rounder though.

Yeah most people's power rankings they have him from 6-16 :P I had to check hoping I wasn't over hyping him too much haha.

But I noticed a few have Hipwood rated higher... I don't see it... He'll be a decent key defender, but he won't set the world on fire.

Either way we will have to part with picks to keep both.

Yeah i see you guys paying 2nd 3rd n 4th rounder for them both. Based on the points system. And then maybe Rueben Williams with your last pick. Best case scenario is, Josh Schache, Ben Keays, Eric Hipwood and Reuben Williams.

Ringo

We will get compo for Berger - and will be doing deals for Redden which may involve picks.

Parish to the bombers! And hoping an inside mid/gun forward with the Carlisle pick
Agree, Parish would add another classy mid that we need for the future. I'd also like another Key Forward with our next pick, would love Curnow if he slips but really doubt it as the draft draws closer.

Probably more likely to go to Carlton I'd say.

3km trial record by Jack Hiscox was broken this morning with a 9m14s run by Joshua Schoenfeld.

Daniel Rioli wins the best performer at the combine, so an unreal effort.

And just wondering, what are your thoughts on Murray Bushrangers pair Clayton Oliver and Mitch King? Both will be drafted we think or not?
