Who do you think for Carlton PK?

Also, Kieran Collins, Haileybury boy. 8)

Finishing in the bottom 3 you will get 1 of Weitering (favour) or Francis as you're lacking key defenders. And the chance of losing Henderson doesn't help either.

Aaaand West Coast mate? I think we'll probably continue to draft midfielders if that means anything!

I agree with you there. I reckon if available you will get Greg Clark. Who is a player i rate highly, i am slightly bias towards 190+ midfielders. The good thing with Clark is with his height he will still provide some use when resting forward, good reader of the ball and with his height and pace he wont be easy to grab onto.

And if Dylan Smith keeps under performing he would be a big chance and a good risk to get with your 2nd rounder.

Cheers buddy, sounds like exciting stuff

Yeah I don't mind this years crop. Really midfield heavy, which I don't mind.

After yesterdays game (VC vs SA).

It looks like Schache is showing that he wants to be pick #1. Hope Brisbane plan to finish on the bottom. Could see  Carlton and Gold Coast swooping on him if either of them finish on the bottom.

Poor game by my main man Parish. Low disposal, wasn't great off his boot. But he has been playing great all championship so probably won't effect how I think of him.

Weitering looks to be the other one contending Schache for that #1 pick, 6 CM and a pretty handy kick, could be a round 1 starter for a team like Gold Coast, Brisbane or Carlton.

Rhys Mathieson continues his domination of the championship. Looks to be top 3 for the U18s medal along with Weitering and Schache. Only downside I saw would be the missed tackles, just didn't look like he wanted to put much effort into it.

Bailey Rice looked good floating and running around the backline. Ended up with 18 possies and a handful of marks, Carlton or St Kilda would be happy to have him in my opinion.

I didn't think I had seen much of Dunkley for the game... And I was right, only ended up with 7 touches, but something else I didn't notice is he had 10 tackles, so he did do something of use in the game, I don't think he will go father son, so will be interesting who will pick him up (Maybe North??)

Francis played well again, looks to be a top 3 or 5 selection. Isn't much he can do, but sadly he couldn't get his team over the line. But going to be a real handy player off the back flank/chb (depends how much he grows) for whoever picks him up.

Partington was relatively quiet, but he made nearly every possie count. Few tackles, few marks was a good day nothing spectacular from him.

My #21 Snelling (will make my top 20 after the end of that game) probably played his best game of the championship. 21 touches, 1.1, 12 tackles and a good DE helped his side contend against the powerhouse Vic Country.

Just watched Future Stars on Win. And Terry Wallace done his first 20 draft picks, some interesting picks I don't agree with, but seems fairly straight forward at this time.

1. Gold Coast - Josh Schache
2. Brisbane - Jacob Weitering
3. Carlton - Aaron Francis
4. GWS - Jacob Hopper (Melb Bid)
5. Sydney - Callum Mills (Melb Bid)
6. Melbourne - Harley Balic
7. Saints- Rhys Mathieson
8. Essendon- Darcy Parish
9. Port - Harry McKay
10. North - Luke Partington
11. Geelong - Charlie Curnow
12. Dogs - Sam Weideman
13. Adelaide - Darcy Tucker
14. Richmond - Kieran Collins
15. Collingwood - Josh Dunkley
16. Hawthorn - Riley Bonner
17. West Coast - Callum Ah Chee
18. Fremantle - Jade Gresham
19. Brisbane - Eric Hipwood (GC Bid)
20. Brisbane - Ben Keays (GC Bid)

I'd be pretty happy for us to grab Kieran Collins, but passing up Dunkley would upset as much as passing on Weller and Laverde for Corey Ellis (though I'm coming around on him).

Agreed, i'd think you would jump on either Dunkley or Gresham over Collins.

I'm still positive that Geelong will jump on Collins.

Dunkley would probably be a father son pick but I guess it depends with the new system.

If we can somehow score a KPP with our first pick, Silvagni with our 2nd and Rice with our 3rd I think we will do alright out of this draft.

That's if Silvagni and Rice want to go to you ;) Sil might want to make a history at another club, and Rice might want to play for us!! Rice is still 50/50 for me, seeings as he trains with us 2 days a week.
