Yep, should've done what AFL Fantasy did IMO and just have the average of those players.

Agree think AF got it right, as always can't please everyone but i think for those actually with a chance of winning the major prizes in DT/SC that would of been the fairest way to do it and for the rest of us we would of just had to accept it like it or not. Those within striking distance of #1 have been hurt the most and the rules should of assisted them not the rest of us who have 0 chance, think they erred here.

I think it was just the easiest way to program into the system

SC would have been the reason VS went the way they did. You can't have people knowing player's scores before they've played or they can take advantage of it.

People without Danger could have traded him in and get his 117.

Those who had kept Bartel (unlikely but you never know), would get his 47

Then there's Lever who gets 70pts for only 230k

Or Betts with a 92pts for 389k

Or those looking to trade out Sloane. You may have been considered other but you could trade in a guaranteed score


No way was going to be perfect, but best 18 was probably fairer to more.

I think just flat out donuts would've been fairer than best 18 to be honest, at least you could argue bad luck
