This thread is to be used for the nomination of rookies being promoted.

Rules for rookie promotion

7.10 Rookie Promotions

All teams will have 4 players on their Rookie list.

A rookie can be promoted to the Senior list as follows:
(a) When a Player is listed as an LTI with the AFL, a rookie can be promoted until the player is returned to the Senior List following Injury. LTI will be classified as 6 weeks or more, Should player return earlier than 6 weeks he will not be allowed to play till 6 weeks has expired.
Rookie will return to Rookie list when player returns from injury  or after 6 weeks if player returns early.
This site will be used to monitor LTI and any injury longer than 6 weeks will allow rookie promotion.
Rookies can also be promoted to Senior list at end of season by using your final draft pick to upgrade.

(b) You can use a rookie to fill a vacancy if unable to fill that position.  Specify when lodging teams.

(c) After Round 13 one rookie may be promoted the Senior List if desired and you commit your last national draft pick for next season for this player and you have to nominate a player that you will delist at the end of the year.

All promotions are to be advised to Administrator for verification and approval prior to being listed on your Senior List.

If a player is listed as 5-6 weeks or something, can you still upgrade someone or nah?

If you upgrade a rookie he will be upgraded for 6 weeks regardless of the player returning or not as per the rules.  So say Player is X is placed on LTI but returns after 4 weeks rookie can not return to rookie list till 6 weeks are up.

I'm guessing retirement qualifies for an LTI Ringo? If not, no dramas. But if it does, would like to promote Cory Gregson for Kane Cornes.

Interesting and we have no precedent,  So I will approve  promotion given the fact that you are losing a player for rest of the season.
