The trades I want to do this week are Ablett-> Bonts, Goodes-> Oxley, which leaves me with $558k to do 2 upgrades in a few weeks.

In regards to Oxley- McIntosh, Saad and Oxley have all shown a high ceiling for rookies, is it plausible to have a floating donut (I have Goddard) to maximise the points from fielding most likely 2 out of the 3?

I can trade Goodes out to make cash, or Goddard (whichleaves me with $436k) and potentially lose points from picking the wrong 2/3 (not including Goodes) to be on ground? Especially with Saints playing after at least one of RICH, GC, COL in all but Rnds 7 and 8 up until Rnd 13.

Thoughts?

Of course, I'm hoping Goodes gets dropped this week so that I can employ an emergency loophole.  I have Oxley, McIntosh, Saad & Goodes.  Would love 1 doughnut in order to have 2 cracks at getting the right rookie score each week.  Oxley this Friday night would be golden to have as an emergency with the option to take his score if wanted.

My long term structure is to have a doughnut on every line for loophole purposes.  Needs to be used with caution however, since a late withdrawal on your field can then leave you with a doughnut, but I think the benefits outweigh the risk, especially early on with these rookie types that've shown the capability to score high and low.

I'll be fielding Oxley and McIntosh this week. If you use Goddard, no loophole is available this week cos he's playing the first game.

I'd take Oxley v Saints and McIntosh v Brisbane before Saad v Cats.

I started the season with Adamson in the mids for this purpose and the ability to move Saad to the mids - not yet to use and might cause problems in the bye rounds but hoping to allow the best mid and back rookie scores. You can increase possibly 20-30 points per week is an extra 200 before the bye rounds and allows extra coverage in the two lines.

The down side is the ongoing loss of players each week automattically provides this loophole :(
