Have moved Gaz out for Barlow and with my second trade leaning towards moving Beams on as I think it's going to get worse before it starts to get better with his lack of support at the Lions.  Want to stick to keeping my bye strategy in place so would prefer a mid who has their bye in round 12.  Guys I'm looking at: Pendlebury (not much support left at the Pies either), Heppell, JPK, Fyfe, Adams (move to forward later).  Already have Barlow and Parker.  Who to bring in?  I can bring in a round 11 bye player if I have to, but prefer not to, and that would be out of Sloane, Boyd (sneaky move to the back when eligible), Ellis.

LF

I was going to but decided to hold this week.
The whole Lions team was rubbish last week and got a good spray as well, also Tigers don't tag.

also Tigers don't tag.

conveniently overlooking that
a) their peak score to mids is 109 so far this season
b) they give up 3 tons per game (on average)
c) their total DT points conceded are the 4th lowest in the AFL (behind Adelaide, GWS and StKilda) - and are also the most consistent team in the AFL at points conceded (very good odds on somewhere around the total of 1410-1420 for this week)
d) are joint 4th hardest team to score 70+ on (with 9.5 per game) behind the three teams listed above and Brisbane

tl:dr - Richmond do not leak, would expect around 1420 total points conceded, with a peak mid of around 105, and possibly Beams being one of the 9 to get 70+

is 70 a good enough score for Beams? he looked pretty disinterested at stages last week, I'm personally ignoring him till Rocky returns

LF

And he is a premo mid that will bounce back after the entire team was rubbish
Those stats mean nothing at all to me the players scoring history means a heap more

jvalles69

All valid points and I too was going to hold Beams, but thinking he may bleed more cash this week and I lost enough on Ablett, I think Heppell is my best bet unless I hang onto Beams.  Boyd and Dahlhaus could be my other options to fill out my fwds/backs later.

jvalles69

Damn just realised I'm short cash for Heppell.  flower it, I 'm bringing Mundy in for a quick 20-30k cash grab rather than losing the same amount.  Might be using the strategy for the first few rounds to build extra cash waiting for my cows to fatten, never tried this tactic and have less invested in fantasy this year so YOLO!  8)

You are aware the season is two games old right?

Beams is stuffed, no pendles to cop the tag every week.... even when rocky comes back beams will still cop the tag. he wont be near the same avg as previous years, move him on

Mundy for the cash grab or Boyd to swing to Def when/if he gets DPP status?  Feel Mundy will score bigger this week though.

why is it expected that Boyd will get DEF status? Especially given there has only been 2 rounds?

You're right not confirmed, but the DT talk boys do the heat maps and if he keeps going the way he is going he will get Def status.

Is this based on two games mate?
Of which being against Carlton and Bulldogs
Carlton's two best inside mids Gibbs and Judd went 96 and 93
and Bonts went 133 for the Bullies

Reckon the first choice midfielders should score well against Richmond unless they use Hunt to tag, which they haven't yet

Im keeping Beamsy, surely there must be something else you can use a trade on?

No money in the bank so Lumumba and Luey will have to wait till a few cows get fat unfortunately.  :(
