Sydney Swans defender Nick Smith has withdrawn from tomorrow’s clash with Greater Western Sydney due to a tight abductor muscle

Ben McGlynn comes into the side for his first game of the season replacing Smith.

Smith is expected to be fit to travel to Perth next weekend to take on Fremantle.

So Smith has a niggle so will be rested for Freo next week. This is also due to the fact that GWS went taller so a small back misses and another fwd/mid comes in

Not really that early, been 18 months since he did it. He will be right, we're not like Carlton we don't need to rush him back so if he's named he's ready to go.
