Trading both out and only have $1,300 in the bank so its basically a straight swap, teams so far is

Def: Simpson, Shaw, Newnes, Lumumba, Goodes, Mcintosh (Oxley, Saad)
Mid: Ablett, Pendlebury, Selwood, Ward, Van Berlo, Cripps, Vandenberg, Ellis-Yoleman (Heeney, Miller, Lambert)
Ruck: Goldstein, Maric (Cox)
Forward: Gray, Martin, Bennell, Swan, Clark, Hogan (Lonie, Lamb)

I have a similar dilemma:

Apart from Ablett, the 3 options you have a Goodes, Cripps and Lamb. None of them may play again this week-end. However if they all start on the field:

Goodes can easily get his BE  and you would back him to get the scores you predicted for him preseason. For this reason I believe he is not 1st inline.

Cripps did not play the role we believed he would, got a meh score and was also dropped. We get one more week to see what role he plays and how he scores without a price change.

Lamb is a rookie. His JS is the lowest out of the 3. Also Lonie + Clark on the bench would be adequate back-up.

Ablett + Lamb/Cripps -> X + Bontempelli is what I'm doing.

X can be N.Fyfe, R.Sloane or J.Lewis depending on funds or even D.Shiel/D.Rich if you wanna punt on them being Underpriced Premiums worthy of M8 or D.Rich making 250k to justify trading him in and out for say Ablett later.

You're in no hurry to trade out Goodes, he won't get the best every week and remember he did well in week 1.

If i was you, I'd trade out Ablett for a super premo and that's all. Give cripps and Lamb another week, they're bigger problems in your team than Goodes.  So is lambert

I'd swap Ablett and leave Goodes, only because there's nobody you could swap Goodes to which I'd see as worthwhile. You could take a punt on somebody like Savage or Hunt but Saad/Mcintosh/ox are scoring well enough already for that not to be an improvement.

Yeah thinking of leaving goodes for now, now looking at Ablett> Rich and Lambert > Bontempelli and subbing gray into the mids
Pockets me 70k too

If you've got Saad don't worry about Goodes for the time being, there's a chance he may come good.

It's just annoying to have 240K sitting there doing nothing.

Lewis + savage.
115 + 90 IMO. Cany complain about that

Goodes is on an extended bench and likely to not make the cut. No urgency to trade him if his price isn't dropping.

He is certainly in my calculations if Goodes doesn't make the cut..

Anyone concerned about Goodes copping the vest again and losing value?

Not ideal but I think Webb will cop the vest.
