He still has a low BE of 34,surely you have other problems to worry about before him.

yes the little master lol

I have him as well, tossing up whether to trade him or not.If I do i can actually grab a premo elsewhere as well due to the cash stash I have in the bank without trading Gazza.
Team announcements will decide a few things this week.

trading gaz now could be burning multiple trades cause if goes big later after we have traded him we would be in strife BUT having said that if gaz struggles for majority of the year and trade him now we could be on. they are the questions to be asked im favoring saying goodbye to the the little man. :( sadly but i think it has to be done rocket is keeping him in the side purely out of desperation loss to saints and dees wont be surprised if cats smash him this week and to have another sub par score im talking 70 odd.

Personally believe that this week v Geelong is make or break for Gazza.  This is where pride, honour, guts, skill and determination  really should come to the fore against the team that loved him and where his image was almost God like.
This is the week where, I believe, he'll either have a red hot go or be out injured if he lacks the confidence for that.
If he plays I'll punt the 40 to 50k possible price drop and keep him. If out injured he's traded. Hope he plays.

Oooopps  sorry to deviate the thread.  Too early to trade Bellchambers

As others have said,  too many other issues to deal with before Belly should be looked at.
If Belly is your number 1 problem then awesome stuff and you must be up in the top 1000 or 100.

How is the back line, the starting rookies.  No mid pricers that need addressing?
Does trading belly fit your long term strategy?

Now i need to go look at all the above myself.  ::)

Some of the reactions around here...

He is 300k with rock solid JS, and provides DPP coverage

Last week he was a hot trade for those clunky $600k rucks scoring poorly.

Geez that feels like a long time ago.

Do not trade. Even if he is you're only problem. He's ruck cover

Any of you guys concerned about his score on the weekend? Particularly those (like me) that have him at R2?

12 touches at 100%, 6 marks, 1 goal and 27 hit outs for 61 points.

Not sure how many of those hitouts were to advantage though, but wondering if I should free up some cash to trade Goldy in...

I think TBC will continue to improve throughout the year, especially his hit outs to advantage, so not too worried. Having said that, I have him as backup in my Fwds and not R2, so will be keeping him as a backup (only expecting 70-80's from him).

I would stick with him for now because he won't be losing you any cash, so not really a priority. Without knowing your team, it's hard to offer advice, but if you have an under performing mid-priced player that will drop in price or stagnate, you might consider replacing that player with a rookie cash cow you don't have and then trade in Goldy for TBC.
