Cheers Mate!
Miller/Goodes and kind of Cripps are my 3 concerns at the moment but I think I'm going to hold them all for now because all they need is one great score and they'll be making money again and I am currently ranked 1,621st so don't think I need to do anything to major as of yet.
What are your thoughts on holding them all?

I'd be comfortable holding all 3 though it always depends on what happens with teams, anyone named with a green vest is a killer, Goodes would be your biggest worry of those 3 but good chance he'll be dropped, I'd say the worry really is if Cripps comes back with the green... If Cripps starts then hold, if he doesn't make the team then could be worth trading to a bubble boy you don't have, if he gets the green then drop him I think. Miller can live to fight another day, won't lose you money just won't gain too much either.

I've got Goodes, Miller, Cocky, Lamb and Cripps.

Me too haha. BE's for all of them are as follows:

Goodes 65
Cockatoo 53
Cripps 18
Miller 4
Lamb -43 - but he's got to get in the team first!

So Goodes and Cockatoo are the biggest issues, Having said that they're only projected to get 31 and 26 respectively, and that would lose them 15,300 and 11,800 each. If they're both named to start it could be worth holding them, sure the low scores will stay in their average for a couple of weeks but if they can get games then once it's out they'll be ok. Trouble is I think Goodes will probably get dropped and Cocky has every chance of getting the green again...

So my biggest problems are Miller and Goodes and maybe Cripps also.
Thinking I might just hold them all for now!
This + Cocky and Ablett.

I'm pretty keen to get Oxley in as he's about the only rookie I missed out on.

Am keen to get Docherty in also. Not sure what to do with Ablett, do I bite the bullet and dump him for 2 premos, knowing that once he gets going he'll be difficult to get back in. Or do I hold him and hope he averages 110 and only drops to around 660k.

Ablett the big question.   With Ablett it is how much he drops and what you can do with the extra cash for points generation.   If you feel you can generate more points over the period(unkown weeks) until he gets back to normal + cost of trades to do it then Ablett is worth the trade.      (based on above it doesnt seem to make sense to me so looks like I got to keep him)   Really wanted to trade him for JPK or Sloan and do Wells NVB.   Pocket the cash for following weeks.  Wait to see teams

Dont understand the logic behind starting Goodes in the vest this week. He was more than serviceable last week and i think he needs to start or not play at all. The blokes 45 and on the pudgy side hes not the type thats gonna come on with fresh legs and provide your team with the run and carry to get you over the line. Stupid decision, and one that cost me 90 points... (i was at work and didnt bother to check who the subs were assuming he would have been starting, and had Oxley and Saad on my bench  >:( )

Cripps for me
Miller, Cripps, Cocky and co. could all be held as slow burners...but I can see the merit in looking elsewhere.
The players on the rise not in my team I'm most interested in getting are Oxley and Van Berlo.
The players I could trade out to get them are Goodes  and Cripps/Miller/Cockatoo.

Cripps had 14 possessions after a slow start in Round 1 and was a late out with a back??? If he's named he could keep making good cash...don't think I want a non player taking up a space in a rookie place when NVB will make 200k in quick time. If he's not named he's gone.
The dilemma I face is I've got enough cash for Gray for Cripps once I do the Goodes trade.... Oxley racked up possies and points and at 123k looks a must have/ no brainer.
Miller and Cocky don't look good but potential is still there and they just might be slow burners. I will have the likes of a Heeney/Vandenberg for emergency mid cover by their side.
I looked to see if I had enough in the kitty to trade Cocky to a decent mid but unfortunately I don't. Just miss Danger and not interested in cheaper options.

So if Cripps is named Van Berlo or Gray?
Spend the dollars in the bank (points going to waste) or get NVB (missing out on future $ to finish mids)...I'm really tempted to get Gray but feel I might be damaging the future prospects of my team.

currently have Miller in at M10 and need to get rid of him. the ones i can afford that i'm interested in are Anderson, Sinclair or Gregson. Atm i'm leaning towards Anderson or Sinclair. More ISnclair due to being a POD and in a lesser team

Being a POD is irrelevant. It's all about cash generation

so does that mean best is Anderson?

What are people doing with Brayshaw, i feel like if he avoids the vest he could well be the best scoring rookie of the lot, has looked really impressive.....i'm thinking bout holding him and hoping Roos gives him a decent crack at it. To come in round 1 with no pre-season games is hopefully the reason for a few vests early.

Hold Brayshaw, he will eventually get full games and will make you some decent cash.

Big Mac

I'd be inclined to hold Cocky if he is named this week - Had a tough debut where his team got smashed and then followed up with a sub game - which we all knew would happen. Against a weak Gold Coast he should do well
