Anyone considering the value of no trades and holding some on the rest of the comp?  I have a few underperforming premiums, but no one that I need to trade out. Have most of the essential rookies except NVB. My only worries are Goodes/Pearce in the backs, and Cripps in the mids.

If Cripps is named and not subbed, is it still worth trading him to NVB?

Im unhappy with Goodes and Pearce, but what options are there to trade to? I started with Saad, Mcintosh and Oxley. Get N.Brown and put two out of those three of those on the field?

Goodes to Brown and Miller to NVB?

Cripps to NVB?

Lamb to McGrath if Lamb isnt named?

Team is
Def - Shaw, Lumumba,  Newnes, Pearce, Goodes, Mcintosh  (Saad, oxley )
Mid - Pendlebury,  Fyfe, Selwwod, Beams, Parker, Cripps, Vanderberg,  CEY (Heeney, Nelson, Miller)
Ruck - Jacobs,  Bellchambers  (Reilly)
Fwd - Gray, Martin, Franklin, Swan, Clark, Salem (Lonie, Lamb)

Thanks for your thoughts guys.

I wouldn't worry about holding trades this week to get a leg up on the comp. This is the week where we make the corrections to our teams

In terms of your team, Goodes to Brown and Miller or Nelson to NVB makes sense. You will only need to field 2 out of Tosh, Saad, Ox and Brown each week which is more than fine

im gonna go gaz> bont (gray to mids) and cripps to sheil

BOOM! nice!

Gaz injured is a blessing in disguise...
I have been contemplating Bont, but when he was getting tagged by Selwood for first half of the game, his scoring was atrocious. It wasn't until Selwood ran out of puff and looked injured that Bont had a big second half. He will be coming up against harder teams now and will get more attention, so am a little worried about how easily Selwood took him out of the game.

I also like Shiel, but what happens if he returns to a tagging role. If he is let to play free, then he will pump out the big scores, but if he is asked to tag again, his score will suffer.

Ablett > Rich , Cocky > Vandenberg + 480k spare for next week Miller > premo

or

Ablett > NVB, Cocky > Vandenberg + 612k for next week miller > Premo

Which option is better? NVB wont score as well as Rich in the coming weeks I don't think and Rich looks like an ideal stepping stone to super premo without losing too much scoring points for the moment.

Lambert. He's having surgery and out for ages

I have Sheed, Cripps and Miller, but really want to get NVB. I don't have Cocky or Lambert and have Saad sitting in def so can't offload Goodes for NVB.

I'm thinking Miller to NVB because Cripps and Sheed should play more games and have more upside, whereas Miller will be a very slow burner and doesn't look like making much cash.

I was unsure of who to chuck at d8 so just chucked scharenberg in to start the season.

Trying to work out whether I downgrade

Goodes to oxley which builds the war chest but has me playing oxley saad and Mcintosh in defense (if goodes does not play) war chest will be upwards of 300k

Or

Simply trade scharenberg to oxley

whynot102

Nathan Brown to Oxley thdn Millef to NVB got all thebother cash cow rookies or dont get Oxley and simply go Cripps to NVB

Anyone Considering Goodes > Roberton?

Rossiii

Just wondering what people are doing that have them...

Both have me really worried based on form and I the wells case injury too..

I'm thinking about downgrading wells to NVB or sideways to rich

As for goodes, what do you guys think of tom McDonald, cheap option been scoring well. I doubt he will keep it up but he should be good for 90-95 surely with the odd shower or two.. Or should I just play it safe and go to Brodie smith or a Simpson..

Wells > NVB
Goodes > Smith

yes or NVB

Bully

After the news that Bont hasn't trained this week I've decided to let him through to the keeper, as cheap as he is I figure I'll take the conservative route and go with Sloane/NVB with a view to picking him up at a later stage. I think he's a great prospect but I'm taking no chances with a late withdrawl.

Tks kilbluff , hate the idea of trading a playing rookie . .Already have nvb ,  just needed to hear from someone to give me some options . . Tks again . .
