Ablett out Sloane in. With one more trade I am considering trading Lambert to Van Berlo, or swinging him forward and Gray to the mids and trading in Lonie or McGrath. Do you think this is a good idea, and if so, NVB, Lonie or McGrath?
Have the same conundrum, except going Gaz to J.Kennedy and tossing up whether Lambert to NVB or Lambert to McGrath to keep a dual position player in the mid. Any helpers??
Go Lambert to NVB mate.
Cheers Rico, what about Lambert to NVB versus Goodes to Brown?
What are your current mids and backs mate?

Hey Rico, my mids and backs are as follows.

DEF: Shaw, Newnes, Lumumba, Ibbotson, McIntosh, Saad (Goodes, Oxley)

MID: Fyfe, Selwood, Sloane, Dangerfield, Griffen, Vandenberg, Ellis-Yolmen, Heeney (Cripps, Miller, Lambert)

Nathan Brown won't score as big as NVB and Brown will only reach max 250-280 as a key back. NVB might reach probably 400k+

That's handy BigTed, thanks!

I'd go Lambert to NVB then mate. Currently you're fielding 3 mid rookies so NVB gives you a really solid option in terms of JS.
With Cripps missing, Lambert out for an extended time, experienced Sydney boys knocking on the door behind Heeney and SThompson/MCrouch to come back into the Crows side... you'll need NVB imo

I have one last doubt. Is it too much to have Sloane, Danger, CEY and NVB in the one midfield, plus Tex in the forwards?

You're a champ Rico.

BomberSam

Don't worry, I have found a thread dealing with this. Looks like it will be all good, I'll trade CEY and NVB at the byes!

All these possible injuries, and hence, perhaps late withdrawals.  I have Gazza,  Pendles,  B Smith,  and Cripps.
Midfield is
Gazza   Pendles   Fyfe   Prestia   Griffin   EYC   Heeney   Newton   Cripps   T Miller   C Smith
My feeling ATM is to sacrifice this round and bring in  NVB  for Gazza  and Vanderberg for either   C Smith   or  Cripps.
Sets my team up with cash cows and gives me a wider choice of mid prems as some of their prices start to topple.
The downside is I lose games and rankings, which I am definitely not keen on.. Have $19380 sal cap before I trade.

Any thoughts and advice would be appreciated. Might the sacrifice come off or is it just SC suicide.  Cheers and best of luck to all.     ;)

I don't think it's a bad move, both NVB and Vandenberg could score well given they face off against each other, even if they score 75 it's not the end of the world. Cash is king at this point in the game and if you are lumped with a deadweight like Smith then you are already behind the eightball. I'll also be stashing 300k away for an upgrade next week, short term pain for long term gain.

Does seem the right way to go, even though it's tempting to go for another super prem. It really comes down to points lost this round v points gained in future rounds. Reckon we're going the right way but seriously need to pick the bes captain and vice captain combo.  Cheers mate   :)

ryanbob0357

Yeah I'm considering this option too. Vandenberg and nvb will make a lot of money together. I'm considering cocky to Vanden  and ablett to NVB.  Gives me 620k  next week to go either cripps or brayshaw to a super premo with the potential  to have enough left over to upgrade Goodes depending on who I bring in my mids. Currently have fyfe danger selwood and parker atm

Guys wanted to know if this is Silly or a Smart move..

Was thinking of Trading Newnes to Shiel and via swapping Saad to backs ???

Good move, not sold on Newnes and Saad is already outperforming him, you may even gain points. As for Shiel, he is a definite breakout contender and I predict he'll be 105+ this year, could be much higher given his rapid rate of improvement. Lock it in.

ando_10

im gonna go gaz> bont (gray to mids) and cripps to sheil
