I went Ablett to Bont, Goodes to Oxley.

$450,000 in the bank ready to go shopping on some fallen premo's.

But now not sure whether that is the right approach as my mids are a little skinny.

Fyfe, Parker, Griffen, A.Swallow and Ablett to ship out for someone.... Is Bont too much of a risk?
yeh I reckon you probably need someone like a Jelwood/Danger/Sloane/Pendles in there mate

Yeah I think you're right.... Mid is a bit soft....

Ablett out Sloane in. With one more trade I am considering trading Lambert to Van Berlo, or swinging him forward and Gray to the mids and trading in Lonie or McGrath. Do you think this is a good idea, and if so, NVB, Lonie or McGrath?

Anyone considering the value of no trades and holding some on the rest of the comp?  I have a few underperforming premiums, but no one that I need to trade out. Have most of the essential rookies except NVB. My only worries are Goodes/Pearce in the backs, and Cripps in the mids.

If Cripps is named and not subbed, is it still worth trading him to NVB?

Im unhappy with Goodes and Pearce, but what options are there to trade to? I started with Saad, Mcintosh and Oxley. Get N.Brown and put two out of those three of those on the field?

Goodes to Brown and Miller to NVB?

Cripps to NVB?

Lamb to McGrath if Lamb isnt named?

Team is
Def - Shaw, Lumumba,  Newnes, Pearce, Goodes, Mcintosh  (Saad, oxley )
Mid - Pendlebury,  Fyfe, Selwwod, Beams, Parker, Cripps, Vanderberg,  CEY (Heeney, Nelson, Miller)
Ruck - Jacobs,  Bellchambers  (Reilly)
Fwd - Gray, Martin, Franklin, Swan, Clark, Salem (Lonie, Lamb)

Thanks for your thoughts guys.

Thoughts on Ablett to Sloane, Danger or Lewis

And should I trade Lambert to NVB or Goodes to Oxley?

Goodes to Oxley I think. There will be other decent mid rookie options that you can jump on where as Oxley could make 70-80k just this week alone.

I'd go Ablett to Sloane or Danger

Thanks for the advice mate, might go Danger just purely for the extra $$$..... I think Sloane could get the tag this week from Viney or Cross

Have the same conundrum, except going Gaz to J.Kennedy and tossing up whether Lambert to NVB or Lambert to McGrath to keep a dual position player in the mid. Any helpers??

Go Lambert to NVB mate.

Thoughts on this: Tossing up between downgrading Griffen or Swallow to a rookie price mid (maybe vandenberg or NVB) and then downgrading Ibbo or Hurn to Oxley?

The only reason I have Hurn is because he's been someone consistent over the past few years and that he's a POD player for me. That being said Ibbo is prone to a few stinkers.

Griffen keeps getting the tag at GWS whereas Swallow is free to roam the midfield but he seems like a shadow of a player he once was. Just getting the $$$ at this stage so i can have a late season spending spree

Ablett is out. Who to bring in?

Ricochet

JPK for me. Proven scorer.

Lewis coming off one big year. Not saying lewis a terrible pick but JPK is more proven

Cheers Rico, what about Lambert to NVB versus Goodes to Brown?

Started the year with JPK and Fyfe over Gaz and Barlow, fair to say I'm pretty stoked with that call :P

JPK, stud.

Nathan Brown won't score as big as NVB and Brown will only reach max 250-280 as a key back. NVB might reach probably 400k+
