I have gone Ablett to Sloane and 300k in the bank. I can either pocket the cash or upgrade Lambert to Rich...

OR

I can go Ablett to a Heppell/Wines/Mundy or other premo set to take a step up and then go Lambert to the Bont.

What should I do?

Thanks,
BomberSam.

If you are running a 4 premo mid and have Gazza trade him to a premo you don't have
If you have 5 premo mids including Gazza then a drop to a missed cash cow like NVB for example is possible
If you have 5 premo mids including Gazza then going to someone like Bonte is an option
If you have 4 premo mids including Gazza plus a player like Griff or Steven for example then I would grab a premo for Gazza
This is just my opinion on what you could do

I will be going with the first one I mentioned and will be grabbing Fyfe.
Great point LF. My mids are:
Ablett, Pendles, Danger, Griffen, Steven, Vandenberg, CEY, Newton (Heeney, Cripps, Miller)
So it's pretty much a 5 mid premo.
1.Now was thinking Ablett > Fyfe,
See if Cripps is sub and if so, trade to NVB. Will have bout $110k.
Or if Cripps plays and not sub/doesn't play, Miller > NVB.
2. Ablett and Cripps > Shiel (chasing points?) and Bont (mid/fwd link)
I can also do Goodes > Ox but Goodes' price won't decrease much if he plays full game so he can wait.

What does everyone think? Which option guys? Thanks in advance..

I started a 5 premo so the Bont is looking likely for me, but I am tempted to just keep my 5 prem mid and bring in JPK or Sloane
Already have Bont so went to JPK over Sloane/Pendles

Fyfe and either Cripps/Miller to NVB depending on team selections

I think you need to go Ablett to Fyfe
Your other mids are not good straight up captain options except Pendles when he hits some form and I think you need the option of Fyfe there to captain if the loophole doesn't work.
And I would trade Cripps if he isn't named or is the sub,if he can't get a spot in the Blues team after last week, then he isn't worth keeping.
Otherwise Goodes to Oxley is the other option I like
Miller will still make decent cash just maybe a little slower, who knows he could hit a decent score this week.

Thanks LF, agree Fyfe is a must. Capt almost very week!! In crazy form atm.

Hi guys,

I was just wondering if you could give me some guidance. Like many others I have GAJ and am looking to move him on. My mids currently are: GAJ, Fyfe, Kennedy Griffen, Ellis-Yolmen, Vandenberg, Heeney, Anderson (Brayshaw, Miller, Cripps).

My first thought was to trade GAJ to Sloane which then allows me to upgrade Cripps to the Bonte. This is desirable however, one of my rucks is Cam Wood, meaning that I would have to wait till next week to get rid of him.

Therefore I am wondering what you all think would be the more desirable move to make this week.

Cheers for the help.

Trading in Bonts now is fools gold IMO. He clearly is the dogs best midfielder by foot and oppositions will look to put a hard tag on him and shut him down. If he averages above 90 for the rest of the season I would be surprised and proven wrong. He has over 30% ownership off the back of 2 weeks where the opposition gave him no accountability whatsoever!

A proven premo to replace Ablett as trade one and a corrective trade for trade 2 seems the way to go. I do have Fyfe, Pendles, JPK and Selwood as well in the mids but don't want to lose the points of a premo for one week to bring in both NVB and Oxley.

Also means if I make a downgrade next week I would be able to make an upgrade to any premo upto 550k.

If I go Ablett to NVB and Goodes to Oxley I will not be able to bring in Sloane and another gun premo next week and would have to go for a lesser mid, which I'm not prepared to do.

mark44

If oxley kills it this week then pick him up next week for around 180

Will Wood play? If so, there is no need to move him on this week, it can wait. If not, definitely make that your second priority after Ablett to Sloane. Another thing is, if Cripps plays, there is no need to move him on. I want to hold him, so it is with a heavy heart that I am trading Ablett to Sloane and Cripps to Buuffantempelli. My gut tells me Sloane is a must and I can't escape the allure of the Bont, and since I would fall just short of him if I traded out Lambert, Cripps is the only real option for me.

Depends how much you want the Bont really. Good luck!

Thanks for that, I had finally decided to trade him in and now you've got me second-guessing  ;)

I went Ablett to Bont, Goodes to Oxley.

$450,000 in the bank ready to go shopping on some fallen premo's.

But now not sure whether that is the right approach as my mids are a little skinny.

Fyfe, Parker, Griffen, A.Swallow and Ablett to ship out for someone.... Is Bont too much of a risk?

Id be grabbing Pendles or Sloane with that midfield.

I think so, hasn't had any attention from the teams they have played, could be in alot of teams pre.week planning to beat the up and about dogs , can't see the bont continuing this really hot streak and hope he doesn't as everyone is jumping on but me.

He reminds me alot of libbas last year, can throw in a 70 or 80 here and there, but just can't see a second year player doing what lib did last year
