If you are running a 4 premo mid and have Gazza trade him to a premo you don't have
If you have 5 premo mids including Gazza then a drop to a missed cash cow like NVB for example is possible
If you have 5 premo mids including Gazza then going to someone like Bonte is an option
If you have 4 premo mids including Gazza plus a player like Griff or Steven for example then I would grab a premo for Gazza
This is just my opinion on what you could do

I will be going with the first one I mentioned and will be grabbing Fyfe.

Spot on LF

I started a 5 premo so the Bont is looking likely for me, but I am tempted to just keep my 5 prem mid and bring in JPK or Sloane

First one for me plus Cocky to Oxley via Saad. Will have to take a punt on Goodes and deal with not having NVB

I'm swinging back to Sloane, I think Bont is still an unknown quantity and I want to see how he performs against the Hawks first, he will go up in price but will still be affordable. As for Goodes, god knows what I'll do with him, I may use Lumumba to get Smith instead but will have to deal with him sooner or later. Hoping for another rookie to emerge, that would be ideal.

GAJ & Miller>

1. Fyfe & Anderson + 58k
or
2. Bonts & Rich + 87k
or
3. Bonts & NVB + 220k

??

Running a 4 premo midfield inc. GAJ ATM.

Who are we thinking are the absolute must have's / moves to make this week?

Is Bont turning into a must? NVB? Getting rid of Ablett, Goodes, Cockatoo?

Who are the 2 musts we should all be looking to bring in?

Gaz out shaping as a must. Goodes and Cocky probably rest on selections this week (and if they are subs)
Bont, Sloane and Brodie smith look like the guys to bring in.

I'm unsure on the Bont, while he's been kicking arse I just don't see him keeping it up. He's gonna cop a lot more attention after those two performances, he's a young guy in only his second year and he's in a young side that everyone believes is currently over achieving. I can see him running out of steam pretty quickly, there isn't many players who have kicked the second year blues. Two games don't make a season.....

With Ablett out, Fyfe = Best player in comp....

Go the Fyfe option IMO

Thanks mate,

Gaj to NVB but unsure who of Cripps or Miller to turn into Sloane.

Haven't seen 2 games from Cripps yet so reluctant to trade him and Miller won't lose cash and is only a decent game or two from making a bit of coin. Other option is to wait a week but I'll lose some points fielding a rookie over Sloane. Hmmm tough call.

Really thinking of doing Ablett - Shiel then Cripps - Bont

Gives me a midfield of - Pendles, Fyfe, Beams, Kennedy, Dangerfield, Shiel, Bont, Heeney (CEY, Miller, Lambert)

Pretty much sets my starting 8 for a long time.

However having Lambert and Miller on the bench may be an issue so would probably be looking at Ablett - Sloane then Miller to NVB but wouldn't want 4 Adelaide midfielders!

Other option would be trading Miller to Vandenberg then Ablett - Sloane I can work with 3 Adelaide midfielders

Hawker_08

I would love people's thoughts on Kieran Jack. I am loving what I am seeing and hanners is getting the tag. Am i better off getting Sloane or JPK or even going to Shiel?

Hoggyz_a_legend

I want to go Ablett-> Bonts, Goodes-> Oxley. Leaves me with $558k to do 2 upgrades in a few weeks.

I would love to hear people's thoughts though:

In regards to Oxley- McIntosh, Saad and Oxley have all shown a high ceiling for rookies, is it plausible to have a floating donut to maximise the points from fielding most likely 2/3?

I can trade Goodes out to make cash, or Goddard (leaves me with $436k) and potentially lose points from picking the wrong 2/3 to be on ground? Especially with Saints playing after at least one of RICH, GC, COL in all but Rnds 7 and 8 up until Rnd 13.

Thoughts?

So I messed up pre-R1 because I got Jack Steele in my side...

Anyone got any good mid/fwd rookies I can go to for less than 199,200?

Got CEY/Heeney/VDB/Miller in the mids
Salem/Hogan/Clark/Lonie/Lambert in the fwds

Not concerned about Lambert because I know he'll be back...

I had Jack last year after about round 12. 8 or 9 tons before then. Picked him up and I think he scored 1 or 2. He may of not been fit. Looks good this season. Be wary as he's not always fantastic 'SC Wise'. plus side he didn't miss any games I had him last year.

Have enough cash for ..

Gaz to SLoane
Cripps to Rich

tempting but is NVB potentially better value at his price?

Lambert is out for 2 months with AC joint. Get NVB for him. Miller > NVB is also ok as you can loophole Lambert.
