When it comes to trading Gaz I think there's two equally as effective approaches. The first is to simply bring in a super premo like JPK, Fyfe, Sloane etc. That leaves some residual cash to fix up the rookies and bring in NVB.

The other approach is to bring in two keepers, Gaz to Bonts and Goodes to Brodie Smith. If Smith misses a week this would also allow another rookie upgrade ie. Cocky to NVB, with Smith coming in the following week.

Not sure which way I'll go but it may be contingent on Smith being selected this week.

Thinking of doing exactly the same Bully, only with Goldy coming in for Belly instead of Smith.

I reckon it's a very smart way to use the cash freed up, assuming Bont becomes a forward line keeper.

Want bonts and nvb. I think bonts is a must have

Trading in Bontempelli right now feels like chasing points that have already happened. I can't bring myself to do it. He's only going to get more attention as the year goes on.

Had a mate who is a very good judge of football go to the game on the weekend and said the bonts is the real deal.

This is certainly a concern but Marcus is beefing up his scores on the back of some outstanding tackling numbers, 20 tackles in two weeks has made me sit up and take notice. At his price he seems a worthy inclusion even if his numbers drop off a bit. At worst he becomes a valuable plug and play guy who can roam between both the midfield and forward line. A bit early to claim him as a top 6 forward but you would expect a 95 average from this point on.

I still haven't decided which way to go but will assess when the team sheets are released. Still very keen on Sloane as well.

Have 3 trades i really wanna make......which 2 out of the 3 would you take a priority?

Probably these two mate, IF you feel GaJ won't bounce back within the next month

Fid

If Cripps plays and not green vested - Cocky to NVB

If Cripps doesn't play - Cocky to NVB

If Cripps gets the green vest - Cripps to NVB

Swoozie

Which is more important?

Cocky to NVB
or
Goodes to Oxley.

Leaning towards getting NVB in and waiting until next week for oxley and copping the price rise.

And this week he gets a hawk to follow him around. Will be a good test for him

thinking Geary down to Oxley for cash elsewhere and good cash cow, but have liked gearys form so far, other option is N.Brown down too Oxley but i feel as though that might not be as productive? thoughts?
