You've got a good point. An M8 and an F6 for $500 and $400k isn't a bad deal at all.

If your bench cover is solid then go for it, but don't forget it's the Hawks and not some team of person footers.

Sounds like your talking him down to justify not picking him yourself ;) You were pumping him up early in the week :)

If I pick the Bont, I pick him thinking I can get a permanent F6 for 420k, and an average of 90+ is acceptable, but his upside is there for more. Tough opponents or not, 10 tackles a game tells me he doesn't rely completely on getting the pill to score well

I'm not talking him down at all, I like him as a selection but given he hasn't trained all week I'd be hesitant to bring him in against an angry Hawks outfit. The game will be very physical and it's the type of circumstances which can produce sub par scores. Bont is still on my watchlist and I'm prepared to pay a little extra if he produces over the next month.

Hawks usually give up decent numbers in the midfield

Apologies if someone mentioned it before...but heard on SEN via SMS that the Bont may be late out..

Goodes for Brown and Miller to NVB?

or

Skip NVB, Hold Goodes and wait to see if Kelly or Whitecross is a better option? Double trading to get nvb just seems a waste.

Or Cripps to nvb only?

They haven't against Geelong & Essendon, Heppell is the only one who has cracked the ton.
Edit. Steve Johnson as well.

More reason to hold off, if he misses I'll probably grab him next week.

Am i better off going Lambert > McGrath (and miss out on the cash cows that are NVB and rich) or should i go Goodes > Rich/Van Berlo (but miss out on rookies and have no fwd cover). Srsly need help.

Lambert is a dead duck so he has to go.

And to think I went Geary instead, was slightly put off by Roberton's subbing in the first match. Silly me.  :-[

Went GAJ > Bont and Cocky > NVB. When will I learn to trade as late as possible instead of not being able to reverse after first game

Forgot to get Oxley in for Goodes...

Should I now just look at:

Ablett > JPK/ Sloane

Miller/ Newton/ Cripps > NVB

Who goes? Who stays?

Thanks in advance, much appreciated.
