Come the end of the season Beams will be very likely be a keeper and Rich will not be. Is 2 or 3 trades potentially worth it to trade Beams out, and then have to bring another keeper in? To be you picked Beams to be a keeper and you should stick with him.

I was thinking a similar thing, not for the money, but after watching Beams last weekend he looked disinterested. I picked him expecting to end up a top 5 mid, but now I am unsure.  I know it's only one game (and they copped a flogging) , and he will still score well, but I think the loss of Rocky really hurts Beams value.

Would love to hear your thoughts Rico. Will he still be a top 10 mid or are we better off swapping to Rich to give us a few weeks to evaluate who will be the mids to get this season?

I don't see it as a bad idea, Beams is copping the number 1 tag at Brisbane and appears to be struggling. He's about to haemorrhage significant cash and the gap bewteen the two will close very quickly.
He's not going to lose that much cash unless he posts another <90 score. He scored 108 in RD1. If he posts another two 110ish scores over the next 2 weeks he'll only lose 30-50k-ish

Could lose more than that, the 73 will be in the rolling average for 2 weeks, Rich on the other hand will put on about 90k. That's a 150k difference, worthy of a trade in my opinion. If I was certain Beams would be a top 10 mid then I would say hold fire but I can't see it with Rocky & Hanley out of the picture.

As I said above man I wouldn't recommend trading him out. He will still be a top 10 mid and scored 108 RD1. Brissie also have a nice little run coming up as well. I'd hold

locky

Which of these two should I trade in for Cockatoo?

stonay

im contemplating moving GAJ simply because he is out indefinitely and who should i move him for? also contemplating trading mumford/maric for grundy, to avoid losing money and gaining some extra $$$ as grundy goes up in value? thoughts?

Getting him (or someone else) back in is a 2nd trade though, so 150k (maybe 200k) for 2 trades? Not worth it IMO.

If you believe Beams is a top 10 mid then I agree, but I have my doubts.

Heeney I think, just because Brayshaw got vested where Heeney is getting to play full games. Will get dropped/rested eventually but hopefully plays most/all games up to the bye when you can flick him.

Heeney for sure, they've said Brayshaw will be heavily managed this season
