Kicking things off, are the sub selections mutually ex/inclusive, conditional or independent?

Mate, I've got a degree in economics, a major in statistics and work for a statistical agency.

But when it comes to this stuff, simplicity is best.
Sure you do mate.
I think Oss is telling the truth mate.
This made me laugh haha ;D

A good laugh indeed. He maybe the head of the ABS for all I care

But mate, I have a Phd in logarithmic predictive modeling, a major in polygraphic interpretation and I work for the Department of Numerics and Horology.

But when it comes to pumping up your own tyres off a statistically insignificant sample despite common sense being the best explaination, I find doing it anonymously is best

I am unemployed and eat cheese by myself because I don't like crowds or numbers, which statistically saves me a lot of headaches. My gut tells me Goodes will not be sub ;D

meow meow

I heard your mum works in the department of horology too.

Think you've misunderstood the situation. Honza was goading Ossie and tried to throw out some statistical terms to see if Ossie was mathematically aware or not. Obviously Ossie is, and so he was basically scoffing at the suggestion via all the mumbo jumbo tyre pumping. But it was part of the scoff and was as much as a tyre pump as you gave yourself...the insignificant sample size was irrelevant.

Timtim, are you really going to argue with a fellow statistician about some obsolete bullshower ::)

All good mate, I was just trolling your arse. I had mandatory stats classes in my degrees and they were a total sausage fest.

Btw Goodes wil be punished by being given 4 whole quarters to show he's a rubbish player trading on his brother's name.

He's not really great green vest material, so I'd be surprised if he is.

What is green vest material? Someone who'll come on and add a bit of dash to the team... like Gia?

100% of the time this year the Bulldogs Bench #4 has been the sub. You can't argue with the facts.

Only once this season has the sub been from the bench. That leads me to believe that the sub could be a best 18.

I don't know much about Luke Beveridge as a coach, but is he the sort who holds grudges? Could Brett Goodes end up sitting on the bench for 3 quarters because he was a naughty boy last week?  It bothers me that he's named as 4th substitute, that's never a good sign.
I still don't know what this is referring to
