Interesting article here. I think the teams are pretty evenly matched, but Hawthorn haven't won 3 in a row yet, while Brisbane did  :P. Who is better?

Yeah these things are just dumb to compare. The game has completely evolved and changed since that era.
The fitness, tactics and skill levels are far greater now but if that Brisbane team trained in todays style and standards they may be better off or worse off, who knows.

anyway.. I personally think that the Geelong of 2007-2009 was better and more dominant than both of them  :-X
