Round 2 Tips

Note - great write ups Purple. This is an outstanding round btw, a lot of coin flip games.

Dublin will be too strong for Beijing
New York over Berlin, just
Wolves over Cobras, just
Moscow comfortably over London
Buenos Aires to edge out New Delhi in a spoon battle
Rio de Janeiro over Pacific who will crash a bit from last week
Reindeers over the Saints in a thriller
Seoul over Cairo
Mexico City to scare us to win over Tokyo without 3 big stars

Zac Clarke :(
Damn ric... NDT has inherited PNL's luck it seems  :(
Except PNL had/has depth.  :-X
And Good players :P
We're trying to get there, thought this year we'd be big improvers though
We'd likely be forced to trade some out again, so think we could ship some depth over to the Tigers in the off-season ;). Shenton doing phenomenal in his new colours at Beijing!

Also might mention I looked back at the original draft, I drafted pretty poorly and disappointed in some of those picks :-X.

Hellopplz

From my quick calculations, PNL should win 1294 to 1224!! Just held on despite some lackluster performances. We put the person cat and his Saints back into their place this week :P.

Maybe with scores like yours, you should consider actually helping lesser teams ;).

I cant trade as Dublin isn't allowed to, mentoring the coaching panel of the weak dillos though to help them rebuild from the bottom like I did.

What is PNL doing?

you could teach people how to successfully finish middle of the table i guess.

Dublin sends shock-waves to the World

Oh lordy. Just, wow. Like I said in the OP, I thought the close encounter last week would spark them into action... but this?!

I am well and truly on the Beijing train, I've been hyping you guys up since pre-season. Beijing would be annoyed that they scored the third highest score of the week and lost... but these guys have improved, and I'm dubbing them challengers for the finals.

Kennedy stars to lead New York to victory against old club

Well played New York, well played. Berlin had too many players scoring less than 70, and not even an inspired performance by captain Nat Fyfe could get them over the all-round strength of the Revolution. It should be noted, that Treloar, Josh J Kennedy and Paul Duffield all scored centuries against their club from 2014.

Berlin Brewers (22.9.141) lost to New York Revolution (23.7.145)

The Wolves' mids feast on lacklustre Cobras

I said in the OP (and I got a lot of these right this week), that both teams had gun midfields, and that the match would come down to it. Well, 5 out of the 6 midfielders from the Wolves tonned it up this week, whereas only 2 did it for the Cobras. The Cobras would be ruing their team-selection committee, with 302 points scored between their 3 emergencies.

Cape Town Cobras (21.10.136) lost to Toronto Wolves (24.8.152)

Best
Cape Town: Shane Savage, Josh P Kennedy, Trent Cotchin
