We are now ready for Round 2.

There will be a Permanent Lock Out at bounce of Carlton West Coast game on Friday Night
So final teams have to be lodged before that deadline.
Teams to be lodged in this thread and remember to do new posts when updating teams

Round 2. (AFL Round 2 - Friday 10th April - Sunday 12th April)
Nottingham Hoods v Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs @ Trent Bridge
Will the Hedgehogs finally get their full team on the park. Will the Hoods stamp their authority as a Top 4 side. Questions to be ansered from this match.
Winchester Werewolves v Swansea Breakers @ The Rose Bowl
This will be a real test for the Breakers to see how much team has improved from last season. Werewolves were dominant last week so Breakers will have to be at the absolute best to match them. Wolves slightly favoured,
Staines Steins v Leeds Leeches @ Wheatsheaf Park
An interesting clash with last years wooden spooners showing improvement up against last years 8th position. Will be a chance to test themselves against a last years Top 8 side, Will need their top team firing if they are to challenge.
Huddersfield Hawks v Bradford Badgers @ Galpharm Stadium
badgers will be looking to bounce back from last weeks surprise loss to the Breakers but the Hawks will be no easy challenge for them. Probably the match of the round and may be decided by HGA.
Liverpool Rams v Oxford Owls @ Goodison Park
Going on Round 1 performances not a lot separates these two sides so will be another interesting match up. Rams should win if Captain Treloar can back up his outstanding form of last week and that is the question.
Blackpool Bunnies v Grope Lane Giants @ Bloomfield Road
Bunnies should be too strong for the luckless Giants but would not want to take them lightly as an upset may occur.
Crosby Cruisers v Hastings Hurricanes @ Ewood Park
Hurricanes were untroubled against an undermanned Hedgehogs team and should be too strong for the Cruisers, Cruisers will be looking for an improved showing from their start recruit of the off season Ryan Griffen.
Birmingham Dragons v Manchester Magic @ St. Andrews Stadium
This will be another interesting clash with neither team wanting to be 0/2 after the round. Result may hinge on who the Dragons replace their injured star Tom Rockliff with.

Now just a reminder of a couple of rules:.

Teams must be named in the following format:
Backs: *** , *** , *** , ***  - Four starting backs
Mids: ***, ***, ***, ***  - Four starting mids
Ruck: ***  - One starting ruck
Forwards: ***, ***, ***, ***  - Four starting forwards
Utilities: ***, ***  - Two starting utilities (These can be players from any position)
Emergencies: ***, ***, ***  - Four emergencies (One for each Line but if OOP is used half points will apply if used) One of your emergencies is to be named as sub.

Captain: Double points
Vice - Captain: Score doubled if Captain does not play.
Emergency Vice Captain Score doubled if Captain or Vice Captain do not play. This may be important when we have rolling lock outs and all have to be named at first lock out.

Reiterating sub rule
If the sub has not been used as an emergency replacement and scores higher than the lowest scoring player on the field then the subs score is taken.  eg If Player x scores 45 and your nominated sub scores 80 then the subs score of 80 will replace Player X's score.  Player x's score will still count as lowest score for HGA Purposes,
Note a player nominated OOP can not be the nominated subs.

Also remember to lodge your 4 emergencies in order as if utilities are used to cover late out first named emergency is promoted

Updates can be posted in this thread and to gain the 20 points bonus scores must be lodged by 9:00am on Monday 13th April.

I will be having a holiday in Cairns next week so updates may not be done straight away.

Good luck to all in the second round.

Jeager out for the season which kills but hopefully our next tier boys hold up. Fingers crossed Scott Thompson is back! This game is massive, Rams top scored last week whilst we had the third highest score. Honestly reckon it go either way but I expect both of us to finish much higher than last season. Made 4 changes this week, dropped Z.Clarke and Lin Jong becomes sub despite his gun performance last week, there is no room. C'mon Owls!
