They have a solid (some might say top 6) list, I think they need to fire Hird because Bomber Thompson was much better & under more pressure

he only had to coach for a year he had no pressure on him

the players are in a much worse situation now then when Bomber was coaching they thought it was all behind them and they could move on but nope

saying they need to fire Hird cause Bomber was better is just dumb you don't know if the team would be playing right now under Bomber

and Bomber wont go back to the club

i'm not opposed to sacking Hird but it wont fix anything until the WADA thing is over

To be fair, Hird was fantastic in 2013 (until he started being called to the ASADA hearings), but he brought this upon the club by authorising Stephan Dank to undertake his supplements program. I know it could spiral into jeopardy, but if I were the board, I would be looking to Stuart Dew or Guy McKenna because Hird has been given to many resources and is running out of excuses.

I dont think the situation is worse, its just that the players were told incorrectly by the club that they were found not guilty. There was not enough evidence on what they took. Now WADA is envolved they are in deep shower, all thanks to Hird who gave to go ahead for the suppliments program and didnt even know what each player was taking. That is the worst part. No one knows who took what. If something happens to a player year down the track, you can guarantee they will be taking Hirad and the dons to court and will be winning as the duty of care for players was not there.

Lets see the supporters pay that bill in court. No thanks
