When you take Fletch out their average age only drops 1 place down below Hawthorn. They're definitely playing worse than their experience suggests considering the age bracket they are in includes Freo, Sydney, Hawthorn and North

what if you put in a kid in place of him though?

That won't happen till next year, and pretty much every team will replace an old guy with a teenager, I imagine at least Sydney and Hawthorn will

Haha - You reckon he'll re-sign? Or is a trade a legitimate option?

He wont re-sign if he isn't enjoying his football -> he wont enjoy his football if he isn't playing well -> he wont play well unless he is either playing in defense or the team plays well.

We need a forward that will complement what we have, we would sacrifice a goat and/or virgins to the football gods to have a Crameri, a Ryder, and to a lesser extend a Monfries back. just that dynamic mix of scoring options.

If we don't swap Carlisle and Hurley (or maybe play him more in the ruck like Saturday) essentially Carlisle is more valuable to other teams than he is to us, making him more valuable as a trade option than if we were to keep him.

Looks like "play him in the ruck" it is

Essendon will get a much needed boost when they return from the bye with at least four names available for selection. Midfielders Heath Hocking, David Zaharakis, defender Dustin Fletcher and forward Jason Winderlich have all recovered from their respective injuries.
Midfielder David Myers is still a couple of weeks away after shoulder surgery earlier in the year.

The bye couldn't come quick enough

Lol I love how active the essendon bored is since we've been playing so bad. Direct correlation of posts per day to win/loss ratio

I always do my banter on matchday and on other sites. Why talk footy when you can't argue+abuse people?

Ironic btw seeing as eagles fans literally do not exist when they're not top four
