Could be a good pick up if you want to make some quick cash

Picking up a small forward after a huge game... rookie mistake

Not saying to trade him in right now - but if he performs again next week, which I think he will, he could be worth a look

Bully

At this stage looks a better option than Salem. Had a look through his stats and this is how he started season 2013 -

77, 133, 61, 125, 104, 135, 111, 84, 62, 115

Not bad going heading into the bye period, will monitor and may make the switch if he has another big performance.

Definitely give it another week and see how he goes. Just don't want to wind up in another 2014 Jackson Merrett situation!

Not a fan of just picking a small sample that projects overs for a player

He's a small forward. He will have a few big games but more low games for sure

That was more to illustrate his ceiling and it's obviously very high, a 100 average over 10 matches is good for a 245k player. Not suggesting he'll repeat that but he'll outscore Salem in the long run.

Plus Melbourne was playing against an out of sorts looking Suns. Rounds 3-7 they play Crows, Tigers, Dockers, Swans, Hawks. I don't think the Demon's forward line will get much of a look in there.

What it illustrates is the blokes who took the gamble and started him won, and now they cash in their chips.

HotTiges

think the best you can get out of him will be 80 odd..

I would say 90 until the bye is the best you can hope for and then he will drop off for a 70 average on the season. I had him in my first draft for this reason but decided to go with 4 premos instead (which haven't exactly lit the world on fire round 1).

He would still make a handy stepping stone averaging 80
