Ruckmen scoring low! Perhaps it's not a good idea to outlay 600k+ for Jacobs etc

I don't think rucks have been crucified. I didn't see any really outstanding performances from the rucks so I think it's just a case of rucks just having good, not great games. Goldy had a good game but wasn't supreme.

10 possessions. 2 K, 8 HB, 90% DE, 7 contested, 35 hitouts. 4 tackles.

21 from cont poss, 3 from uncont, 12 from tackles, 6 from kicks, 7 from handballs = 49 points
10/35 hitouts to advantage (28.6%) = 50 points

Maybe he went at 31.4% with 11 HOTA and they pinched a couple of points from him.

When we see a 50 hitout, 10 kick game from a ruck and they score 100 it'll be a disgrace but at the moment I think it's just a case of rucks not being utterly dominant.

I have both Jacobs and Goldy... looks like I've paid way over!

I feel like I should be downgrading and loading up on mids... will loose stacks of point from here until the bye rounds...

Just chill. It's rd 1 and look at possessions, none of them kicked goals really either. Everyone needs 2 rucks and IMO a third sitting in fwd line as insurance (cox or other cheap fwd/ruck on bench). It's all relative if scores are affected, they all lose value and scores proportionally unless they get no hit outs and a tonne of the footy (Steph Martin, Grundy types).

I considered the same ruck set up, had goldy locked, considered NicNat, the settled on Leuey and Goldy.

I think Jacobs and Goldy is a good combo.  They may drop in value, maybe both to about $500k, but a good combo for the long term.  I wouldn't waste a trade by trading them out.  If you can get about 200 from the pair each week, that is probably going to be as good as anyone can expect.

I don't expect leuey to score 96 each week, I may look to upgrade him during the season if he can make some cash.

Yeah I went set and forget this year... will see how things go next round - hopefully sauce can score at least 95/100...

Saw Goldy play yesterday, looked really good and smashed Jacobs for most of the third quarter when North fired up. Looking forward to him averaging 100. Hopefully Belly can give more of the same, scored 80 in really wet conditions.

Panic trading keepers is what leaves teams with no trades at round 16 and still 5 rooks on the park...

Went Ryder and Maric

Ryder was impacted by having to ruck 90% of the game. Should be a higher scorer once Lobbe comes back in.
Maric was solid and expect his scores to improve.
