It's absolute bs, Goldy is dominating and Jacobs is really moving well around the ground and putting it straight down the Adelaide mids throats. Am contemplating a downgrade before prices plummet, because the cash can be used so much better.

I think the rucks were being rewarded for nothing stats since winning a hit out didn't have any influence on the game so they figured their scores were over inflated.

Posted something similar in the Ade vs Nth thread. I guess they decided that a hit out that isn't to advantage shouldn't be rewarded with a point, and in turn one that is now is rewarded more

I think that actually makes sense.

If things go as expected, at least top end rucks will be around the 500-550k mark next year max  :-\

Something along the lines of the ruck scores didn't accurately reflect the actual impact rucks have on the game. I interpreted that as "Rucks don't do enough to be averaging 100+ so will we change the scoring"

In addition to that, we were all clearly informed of the changes to ruck, so it really shouldn't be as much of a surprise, but I do get it. When I see how much NicNat and Mummy influenced their respective matches and didn't even ton up, it does feel a little wrong, but at least its consistent

Goldy's had a huge third quarter so far, 6 hit outs to advantage, few possies and a monster mark, wonder if it'll trabslate to points.
