SYDNEY SWANS
After a commanding win over Port Adelaide on the road, spots in the Swans side are tough to come by, but Ben McGlynn is at the front of the queue if one does pop up. The nippy forward was influential with 20 touches in the Swans' reserves victory over Ainslie in the NEAFL in his first game back from a high hamstring strain suffered in the pre-season. In a pleasing sign for the Swans, McGlynn got through the game without incident, with Tom Mitchell and Daniel Robinson also knocking on the door of senior selection. â€" Adam Curley
Didn't realise Curley was based in Sydney. He's an old WA boy

My Chumps

TBH it's hard to see us make any big changes while we're winning.

Laidler was good R1 but had no impact against Port. Can see someone coming in for him and McVeigh going permanently to half back. Towers is the other one who's likely to be dropped at some stage, although he played pretty decently on Saturday night, particularly in that second quarter where we built a bit of a lead.

Optimally we could bring in Mitchell and McGlynn for these two but Horse seems set on the current structure.

Or even keep Laidler and relegate Rhyce Shaw  :-X

Shaw was really good in round 1 against Essendon. Rampe did all his work last weekend so I think they'd work well in 90% of the games together

Still used to ball pretty poorly round 1. Really can't trust him with the footy coming off half-back.

Apparently there's a rumor going round in some Melbourne newspaper that Hannebery is thinking of leaving at the end of this year to go back to Melbourne.

Pretty sure its come up before though so not much concern
