So similarly to the thread I posted in the AF section, I normally play SC and don't touch DT/AF since I don't care for it. I figured I would slap a team together real quick the other night and this is what I came up with

103k available and I have picked a couple of guys like Hep and Taylor who I was thinking about in SC but decided against. I figure if disposal is Heps weakness it would suit him in this game

Mat0369

So Lamb swapped to Lonie in my side. I also scored 1825 and I am ranked 3277 at the end of the round. I'll probably hold trades for the week

Mat0369

I decided Gaz for Lewis and Miller to Van Berlo. I was considering Ibbo to Ox instead of Miller to VB and hindsight might say that was the move to make but meh. I literally put the side together in 10 minutes and I am already ranked better then my SC side which is sad

Bartel to Motlop is the only trade I am making this week. I will look at Krak next week. Griff is actually the one I am considering chopping for him to free up an ishload of cash for upgrades

Mat0369

This team is not actually going to bad

$141,600 in the bank, 27 trades

2045 for the week, 280 for the round, 7870 total points, 578 overall

Considering 2 trades this week.

Either Heeney or NVB to Krak taking break evens into account

Sandi to Tarrant using Bellcho so I can evaluate the rucks over the next couple of weeks. It will give me something like 700k to make upgrades which will start the following week

Mat0369

So with Clark and Heeney out I am still leaning towards dumping Sandi and Griff. Any thoughts?

AaronKirk

Its works fine still. You get the cash generation to then bring in 2 premos potentially next week.

Mat0369

Yeah it what I was thinking. I still pocket 700k and I can let these boys mature a bit in terms of cash

My week was looking good early before the Sunday games

Round 5 score 2,038

Round 5 Rank 6,094

Total Score 9,908

Overall rank 746

So I dropped down the rankings this week but I guess it was expected with my cash grab

25 trades, $756,700 in the bank

I am contemplating Rich to Beams and Salem to Gray. I am not sure how good of a DT scorer Beams has been in the past but he looks relatively cheap. Barlow is the other but he has been pretty poor all year. With those two trades I will still have 326k in the bank which is handy

Mat0369

If I also bring in Gray I can use him in either the midfield or forward line pending where my stronger rookies are while Lewis is suspended

DO NOT TAKE BARLOW
imo Mundy has taken over his role, and therefore his DT points

I would definitely axe Salem too, he's basically topped out for me, and it's time for him to be moved on

Mundy has been in some fine form to start the season. From what I have read Barlow has played on the flank which has hurt his disposal numbers. He is 80k cheaper and looked to have a bounce back game this weekend but having not watched it I am hesitant.  It turns out Beams has had a good history of scoring and relatively cheap in comparison to a couple of others which is why I have him in that bracket.

Mat0369

So with teams out I have been having a think about what to do. I still need to check BE's on a few players and with doubt on Beams I am not bothering with him.

I have currently gone NVB out for Gray and moved him forward. I am trying to decide between Rich or Salem out and if I bring in a forward or a mid. Mid options are Mundy, Armitage and Ebert. I am not 100% sold on Ebert. Forwards I have Dahl or BJ. If Mitchell manages to avoid the vest this week, I might look at him next week as I still have the cash to bring him in. Any thoughts?

I have a similar dilemma tyring to decide between bringing in a forward or mid this week. It's a little hard to predict the top mids at this stage so I'm thinking a forward.

I would pick Goddard in your situation (I brought him in last week) as he's a proven premium who's dropped a bit of cash and now on the way up.

Zorko may be another option to consider. Has scores of 104, 61, 106, 76 + 112 and seems to not be copping any attention so he is getting enough of the ball to pump out decent scores and the only top 8 sides Brisbane play in the next 7 rounds are Port Adelaide and Essendon.

Similar price to Goddard but would be a decent POD. He is in 5.4% of teams compared Goddard 16.4%

He is 60k cheaper than Goddard. Essendon do face Freo and North Melbourne in the next 2 weeks.

I'm personally waiting 2 weeks for Goddard and bringing in Zorko this week.
