Guys a proven scorer, the captain of his side, and has a super leg. Really tempting me. However has been one to miss games over the last couple of years which concerns me.

Simpson and Shaw locked at D1 and D2. Newnes at D4

Hurn a good fit at D3?

Peter

No reason not to, other than price compared to low $400k defenders

Jroo

Good pod, underpriced. I don't think he's injury prone just been unlucky.

Ended up picking him.

If you are in the 2.5% that own him what are you doing? Has been really disappointing thus far.

Obviously injuries to key WCE defenders are a problem. Easier draw coming up though. Worth holding?

If you went with Newnes and Goodes as well then give it up now.

I would hold.

I have Hibberd and am annoyed.

Yeah it's gonna be tough for him with reshuffling of West Coasts defence. Who can get for him?
Don't see the point in sideways trading him but if you can get in a premium like Shaw, Smith or Hodge then I think it's worth the trade

I don't have him but he was heavily tagged last weekend by Freo (I think Mayne played on him) and I would expect opposition teams to keep trying to aggressively shut him down.

I don't think you should trade him yet but you need to consider your options if he cannot break the shackles of being tagged

Pretty much my thought process, best i can move too is Birchall, who i think is a viable long term option, at this point think im going to have to hold until i can bring Smith or even a bottomed out Malceski in.

No Goodes, but i do also have Newnes. :(

As someone that has him as well, it's been disappointing. With MacKenzie and Brown going down, he is playing lockdown defence and not the runaway defender anymore. If McGovern misses this week it will only hurt more. If he can't score 80+ against Brisbane it's bye bye and it's Whitecross in.

But go to remember that defensive premiums are tough to find so waiting on him might not be a bad option either.

I'm an Eagles supporter and as soon as EMac went down, Hurn was out of my team

Add Brown and even McGovern to the list and Hurn just has too much accountability down back now, which means he isn't going to get the freedom we are used to seeing him get, hence his scores will suffer
