Good on Jackson Nelson. Hasn't got as much attention as the likes of Lamb/Duggan/Sheed but he's done well to get a gig. It's a shame he's probably a strong sub candidate.

Melbourne has upgraded Aaron Vandenberg from rookie list as replacement for Christian Petracca, who was already on long-term injury list.

I wouldn't grab him Simpson has said he doesn't want to rush the new recruits so he possibly might be similar to Sheed last year

Like most rookies, if the does well enough, the length of his stay could increase. However, guys like Sheed, Ellis, Hutchings and even Duggan can and will take his place.

You'll have plenty more chances this season  :P
