Anyone tempted? I'm thinking about using Krak as my loophole player, particularly if I use Belly at R2 and pick a playing ruck at R3. The beauty of Krakouer is he can form a deadly partnership with Lambert (if named) and switch onto both lines. Port play a lot of late games as well. As a case in point, if Lambert isn't sub then one can whack the E on him to see how he goes, if it's a dud score then a mid/forward can be used to plug the gap. It's something I'm giving serious consideration to.

R3 or D8 are the positions to consider a floating donut because of the lack of options and questionable JS.

The likelihood is there will be enough rookie options in the Midfield and Forward line who's JS is good enough to play enough to make cash.

Something to consider though.

Fair points but with 3 bench spots in the middle it seems like a good place to plonk him. It will cost some cash but could pay off handsomely if the bench rookies start tonning up. The other aspect of Krak is he should get a run sooner rather than later.

Why would you pick Belly at R2 and then spend more cash on a playing R3? Seems like a waste

I don't see the point in starting with a loophole because there is every chance that in the next week or two at least one of the rookies you start will get dropped, so you can just use them

I'd love to have Lambert and Krak or Steele switching between Mid and Fwd but I'm not going to jeopardize my cash generation and cover abilities just for a donut

Cons outweigh the Pro's for me

It was in the event that one of the Sydney boys got named but I agree, this isn't compatible with Belly at R2. If a playing ruck emerges will you select them? Difficult choice given the need for a DPP link. In a perfect world O'Brien gets selected and one can have the best of both worlds.
