If Goodes is named should I pick up Whitecross, Kelly (Adelaide) or Andrews. Thanks Jay

I've got Kolodjashnij and not sure he's worth keeping?

Backline:
Shaw, Lumumba, Saad, Oxley, Newnes, Gibson, McIntosh, Kolodjashnij

Are people not worried about the return of Impey? Let's not forget when bothe were fit and available at the start of the season Hinkley chose Impey first, he must like what he brings to the side.

I know I know Krak played well and if he does it again this week it's prob his spot to lose but Hinkley must see something in Impey.
Sure, that is a risk mate. But not many downgrade targets are going to have 100% job security. I think Krak is as good as we'll get for a little white anyway. Plus the DPP comes in handy.

I wouldn't be too worried bringing in Krak :)

Goodes > Def rookie (kelly or hamling if named) and either one of these trades. Salem > Swan or Lamb > Bont?
Goodes --> Kelly
Salem --> Swan

Salem hasn't quite finished price rising yet but Swanny is a must.

Hey jayman.
Would love ur opinion on the following trade ideas
Looking to trade out R griffen move C Pearce into mids bench for a week and jump on oxley.
With the cash I will upgr sexton to bonti in fwds.

Then next week trade out goodes, move Pearce back to def and get krak. This will also give me m/f link.

Is it worth getting rid of griffen to get the other trades done?

Def: h Shaw Simpson newnes saad McIntosh Pearce goodes n brown
M : sloane pendles jpk danger rich. And all the good rooks
F: gray dusty swan Salem Clark lonie sexton lamb

Great thread thanks for ur input mate!
I'd hold Griffen mate, he's going to be a rollercoaster but he'd bound to pump out some big scores soon.

All I'd do this week is Pearce --> Oxley and then re-assess next round.
I'll miss out on bonti if i don't do the griffen trade and I'm thinking he is a pretty good get atm.
Don't really need to get rid of griffen but he's the only way to get cash to upgr sexton to bonti.
When my rook mids fatten I can then get in the super premo mids ( and prob not griffen). Mids rooks can score as well as griffen so won't lose much points there, but sexton and bonti and miles of points apart.
Sound logic u reckon?  Or wasting trades mate ?
Hmmm tough one but I'd still lean towards keeping Griff, even if that means missing out no Bont.

He averaged 80 last year if you take out his sub game - its very rare a player jumps his average up 15ppg in his second season. Which is what he roughly needs to do to become a keeper.

Hi Jay,

I'm unsure what to do with Jed Anderson. Would love to hear your thoughts. Do I hold him, or trade to another rookie, or take a long shot and Lin Jong (I've really liked the look of him)?

My other trade was goodes to Oxley, Unfortunately I couldn't do it last week =(

Alright here's one from left-field for ya :p

Elite question... for the rest of the season Cotchin + A.Oxley VS Coniglio + James Kelly?

Basically, will Cotchin keep pumping tons? Or will Kelly average enough more than free agent defenders to warrant giving up a quality mid for?

Have fun :p
Wow that's a tough one. But I'm leaning towards Conigs and Kelly just because I think that pairing has more chance of both being keepers than Cotch and Oxley (surely he can't keep this up...)

Considering Bellchambers to Bont for the extra cash generation.
Is it too much of a gamble seeing as I lose my ruck protection and there's a fair chance Bont want be a top 6 fwd?
Yep too much of a gamble. We all picked Bellcho for ruck coverage, and he's still providing that.

Bont is not a must-have. Sure he's a great pick but not worth sacrificing your only source of ruck coverage.

D: Simpson, Shaw, Hibberd, Lumumba, Saad, Oxley (McIntosh, Goodes)

M Fyfe, Pendles, Selwood, JPK, Griffen, NVB, CEY, Heeney (Vandenberg, Newton, Miller)

R: Maric, NicNat (Read)

F: Swan, Buddy, Dusty, Salem, Clark, Hogan (Lonie, Lamb)

$53,400

Going for overall. No one to trade in for Goodes so will hold this week
Should I trade Lamb to Krakouer now?

Have my eye on Tarrant for either Newton, Clark or Salem next week and will look at moving Goodes on too

If you can, its always good to wait until the rookie is on the bubble but in this case with Lamb not playing anyway, go for it.

And then can do 2 moves next week if you want. Just gives you that extra bit of flexibility.

Nah I think its worth giving him one more week to give you another look at Krakeour :)
