The Anzac Day king Swanny is currently not n my team. Is it worth getting him in for Griffen?

He's a must, but I'd hold Griffen for now. Anyone else you could trade for him?

Pendles or Walker?

Bartel Out. To Bont or not to Bont?

Silly me forgot to put a FWD/MID link in the mids. Already have Gray/Martin/Swan.
Want buddy but will wait til he comes down in $ (?) and not bring him in the week he plays Freo...

Nah. Might have to miss the boat on Swanny if it means trading one of those guys.

Upgrading Goodes to either Birchall/Smith this week
Reckon Smith is worth the extra $45K?

Personally was leaning towards Birch with a breakeven of 74 and a strong POD - only in 2.6% of teams

Yo Jayman, Goodes to Oxley?
Or jump on Krak 1 week early and cull Bewton then upgrade TBC to Bont?
What do u think Jayman?

hawkboy80

am i crazy for wanting to go mummy to goldy, mummy has had 3 ordinary ruck opponents so far and avg = 89

Okay Jay, I've got to move Bartel and Goodes on, I've got $240,500 in the kitty as it stands.

I'm keen to get JPK/Gray/Pendles but I'm more inclined to wait another week or two as they all have such high BE's, all 150 or above.

Looking to get Brodie Smith in also and even contemplating getting Bontempelli and using him as a stepping stone.

I have DPP links on all lines so am able to get whoever I can afford, trouble is I'm not sure which way to go on it.

Shaw. Hibberd. Lumumba. Newnes. Oxley. McIntosh. (Goodes. Brown.)
Sloane. Fyfe. Jelwood. Ward. Heeney. VDB. CEY. Cripps. (Saad. Miller. Lambert.)
Goldy. Nic Nat. (Read.)
Bartel. Dusty. Swan. Bennell. Salem. Hogan. (Clarke. Lonie.)

Yeah the Bont is the obvious pick, and it makes sense. I'd get on - he's going to skyrocket in price.. The rest of the fwd keepers will be up and down imo.

All aboard the Bont train.

I'm with ya mate, I think this is a great time to bring Birchall in. I think Smith is a gun, and a top 5 back but will drop a bit more in price - perhaps make him your next upgrade target in the backline.

As you say, Birch is an excellent POD and a lock for a 90 average.

Agree, Birch is a very astute pick.

Sorry champ, missed this one.

I'd just do Goodes to Oxley and then hold. I always like to wait until a rookie is on the bubble before bringing him in, and also think Bewton has more cash to make.

As for TBC, he's still providing cover in case one of your rucks goes down. If you trade him and you cop an injury, you'll be spewing. I'd just get rid of Goodes for Oxley - whom it isn't too late to pick up, still going to shoot up in price :)

Yeah you are mate :P

Mummy is still going to be a top 5 ruck, so its not worth burning a trade to get rid of him. Make Goldy an upgrade target, he's a gun, but not at the cost of Mummy.

Hmm tough one. I'd actually hold off trading for a defence premium at the moment, just because the rookies are performing so well its almost a waste to have one of them on the bench.

How about Goodes --> Krak by swinging Saad back and then hopefully you can use Brown (if he misses) to potentially loophole McIntosh. And then I'd trade Bartel to Bontempelli - don't think I really need to explain why people should be getting Bont.

Then that will give you plenty of cash for a Lambert upgrade next week, whether that be a mid or a forward.
