I do hate him less now that he doesn't play for that other team.
Is that like 'the team that shall not be named...'?!?
haha- your mob's past couple of years should have set the mind at ease :)

It'll take longer than that for this old elephant.

I've only just come to terms with 1984 and 1985.

...Watson, Daniher, bit of deja vu with any luck this year!

Hi Jay,

I'm getting rid of Bartel and KK this week and have $67,500 in the bank. I have Bonts in mids (who I can swing to fwds) and my Def 6-8 are McIntosh, Oxley and Saad.

I am considering one of the following:

Swan and Hibberd, and no cash,

or

Sloane and Byrne/Andrews/Kelly/Whitecross and $200k.

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Swan and Hibberd in my opinion. Mainly because Swan is probably the biggest lock in the game. Also, I'm not sold on any of Byrne, Andrews, Kelly and Whitecross yet. If you're set on this option though, WhiteX is the pick of that bunch.

Can I ask why you want Hibberd this week? Averaging 75 with a BE of over 100, I think wait a week on him. If you're looking for a guy around a similar price, Birchall is your man.

Agree, Birch will almost certainly average 90+ this year.

Can't afford Birch!!!

Oh damn... In that case then yeah, Hibberd is solid :)

Hi Jay,

Goodes > cheap rookie
KK > premo defender
Is this double trade worth it?
These two are my main problems atm, I have 80k in the bank so can pretty much get any defender for KK if I trade Goodes to a rookie

tommy10

Yo Jayman, Goodes to Oxley?
Or jump on Krak 1 week early and cull Bewton then upgrade TBC to Bont?

Yeah lock in Goodes to a rookie mate. And then I'd look at getting Hodge in for KK. What will your defence bench look like though? Its not ideal to have one of Oxley, Saad and McIntosh sitting on the bench,

Current backline is Shaw, Hibberd, Fisher, KK, Oxley, Saad... McIntosh, Goodes

This is a bit out there, but it's food for thought... Would you consider downgrading both KK and Goodes? Perhaps to Whitecross and Kelly? That'll give you plenty of cash to fix your other lines and lets you start all of Oxley, Saad and McIntosh who I think are all good enough. Risky, but could pay off.

TexR74

Have another idea but I cant decide between these trades.

Option A: Goodes to Hunt, dont use the other
Option B: Goodes to Hunt, Griffen to Smith/Hodge (via Lumumba to mids)
Option C: Goodes to Birchall, Minson to Grundy
Option D: Sit tight, and pray Goodes fires
Which one?

D. The others aren't worth it.

Oh yeah hadn't thought of something like that, what will whitex js be like? I would want at least one of them to be solid backup on the bench.
